Such a great recommendation from a friend! Very accommodating for dietary restrictions and kids menu. We arrived at 10am on a Saturday and there was a 20min wait, not bad at all. They let us wait in the back room (for private parties and overflow) instead of outside. We had the Brussels Sprout Hash, my husband's version had vegan grits since he doesn't tolerate dairy. They were delicious! I added a side of chicken sausage and a chive biscuit to mine, which was the best decision! My only critique would be I wished the brussel sprouts were a little drier or roasted instead of wet/ juicy. Still delicious though! They also have a fantastic drink menu for all preferences! Coffee, Tea, Juices, and cocktails. The kids menu options are great, or you could kind of build your own from the extensive side menu. Can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: Several Vegan versions of dishes, clearly labeled, very accommodatingDietary restrictions: Several Vegan versions of dishes, clearly labeled, very accommodating, gluten free options as well. They had put a stick label on my husband's version of the Brussels Sprout Hash which had vegan grits.Kid-friendliness: Two year old daughter had a great time. They allowed us to put in her order first, it was super fast, and there was space for a high chair and very friendly staff

Square Cafe is in our regular rotation of breakfast spots when we want to treat ourselves in the morning. We prefer to go early with our kids so that we can beat the crowd. The lemon ricotta pancakes are so good, as is the french toast. It's hard to go wrong with much of anything on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They seem to be accommodating to those with dietary restrictions, you just need to make sure to inform them of what they are.Parking: There is adequate paid street parking near the restaurant, and it's usually free on weekends, but be sure to double-check the meter.

*HYPE WORTHY* While visiting Pitts, we were told this is one of the cities best brunch spots- so we had to try! Beautiful cafe with fun art/decor! Staff was friendly! We dined in for a Saturday breakfast & WOW- so good!! Love that they offer a decent amount of vegan choices in their menu! What we got:Vegan PB pancake- such a delicious pancake - and vegan!! The perfect texture, flavor & size! Completed with fresh fruit, powder sugar & the most beautiful presentation. So good!Vegan breakfast biscuit sandwhich- the best vegan breakfast sandwhich I’ve had! The biscuit itself was amazing! Super flakey, buttery and dense! It was served with vegan egg, vegan cheese & sausage! It all came together so good! Served with a side of home fries! BOMB!We LOVED eating in Square Cafe! It had all the best vibes, amazing food, vegan choices, and great staff! It really lived up to the hype and I understand why there is long lines to get in on the weekend (although we didn’t have a long line on an early Saturday morning!!)

Very cozy! The potions are large (pictured) and good for what you pay)! Any of the matcha drinks are highly recommended! They have non dairy milks, gluten-free items marked on their menu, and the staff was very helpful with accommodations. Ps. Their oatmilk is gluten-free as well!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free & vegan items available & marked on menu

Please don’t support them, they steal tips from their employees. I never been more disgusted by a place

The fact that it's still called "Square Cafe" even though they moved away from Regent Square is dumb and I don't respect it.
