I feel like this subway should shut down. The owner is extremely rude to customers and staff. The other day I went in to gets subs for my friend and I and I had a coupon from the news paper. The owner aggressively asked for it and then after reading it said I could only order from the white menu. When I mentioned the coupon only excluded 5 or 6 subs he said "it's my shop and I'll decide what I'll accept" I told him ok and I would be spending my money elsewhere. This isn't the first time I have seen him act this way but it was the first I was treated this way. If he is so miserable he should just close down because that is no way to keep business. I won't be going back again.

My food was ok. Usual subway quality but the manager was really mean to his employee. She seemed like a nice older lady but was slow. Was rushing her and talking mean to her. Besides that there was an altercation between the manager and a man who wouldn't leave and was loitering in the building to wait for the bus despite signs saying not to.

I ask for green peppers on my sandwich, the lady counts out 4 pieces for a footlong. I ask for more and she gives me 3 more. I would ask for more, but I know it won't happen and I'm sick of the fight over 20 cents of vegetables.I'm paying with a coupon from this week's ad. The manager overhears this and SPRINTS out to the front of the store to check it. It's not posted anywhere I saw, but they tell me that my coupon won't work on most of the sandwiches they sell.

The employee making sandwiches was making numerous mistakes, and when informed, she started removing wrong ingredients from a sandwich and PUTTING THEM BACK INTO THE CLEAN TOPPINGS. I walked out.Please avoid, their sanitary practices are awful.

One of my favorite Subways in Downtown Pittsburgh. Especially when riding public transit, this place is a blessing! I can enjoy a good, satisfying lunch, while waiting for my bus. Can see the bus stop-- which is right outside the front windows-- as the bus pulls up.Thank God they made it through the pandemic madness of Covid!!!And as long as you make a purchase (which is just basic respect in my opinion) the owner doesn't mind you utilizing the bathroom. The owner is a really kind man if you get to know him.The soda out of the new soda machine was flat. Tsk tsk. Sandwich was good. But the lettuce could have looked better.

I went in to get a sub a few weeks ago. The manager was very rude and unfriendly. He also spoke to his employee grace in a demeaning way. It's sad because she is so polite to the customers. She never defends herself she just takes the humiliation and continues to be pleasent to the customer she is serving. Its quite remarkable!! My initial thought was that he was just having a bad day. Although when you run a business, you should always be polite to the customers unless they give you a legitimate reason not to be... i know everyone has a bad day here and there. Today I went back... same scenario! So this seems to always be the vibe of subway on liberty. If you don't like the business that you are in... get out of it!!

Manger is so mean. I have been to this Subway several times and ONLY because it is close to my job. The Manager is so rude and evil. Has been for years. I try not to frequent that location but today I got a sub and there was a very nice lady ordering her food. She said to the owner "You're being nice today" He told her to "Keep you comments to yourself". And was pretty much yelling at her. How do you yell at someone that just spent their hard earned money in your establishment?!? Today I decided I am not going back. I refuse to spend my money and make other ppl rich when they are rude an ignorant to the customers. He really needs to not deal with people.
