Ok, so I knew Chosen Crumble would be doing a pop-up at Sugar Spell Scoops and love their vegan bakery items. I arrived and ordered some ice cream and it was creamy, and rich and soooo good!!! I am vegan, so it's very hard to find vegan takeout in Pittsburgh. I will definitely return to try theirnother ice cream flavors which were so unique and take a pint, or two, home.
Finally was in the area on a Sunday when they were open and was able to try this ice cream!First of all, they had really adorable kitschy vintage decor for Halloween. My daughter loved it! I did too. We tried peanut butter chocolate ripple and pumpkin caramel cream. I liked them both! The PB ripple was very peanut buttery, which is my favorite ice cream flavor. This is one of my favorite businesses in Sharpsburg. They're so creative and artsy, and the place is a joy to visit. The ice cream is delicious and always generously filled with candies and confections. I love their Instagram account photos too; I can't possibly try all the flavors, so it is nice to be able to see all the new flavor names and creations.
