I got the bonito yaki onigiri, the bacon mochi and the miso soup for a simple meal. The service was very quick and polite, the restaurant is very sweetly decorated and you can tell the family who runs it is very dedicated to it. The onigiri and the miso soup both lacked in flavor, but the bacon mochi was very flavorful and unique and would probably be the only thing I would reorder if I go.

First time there. My daughter suggested it. She took Japanese in high school. A little on the small side with a lot of decor. Server was really nice. Food options was very interesting. I basically had chicken and ramen noodles. With lettuce. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer. But a good place to try.

Authentic, delicious Japanese food with 5-star service to match. This spot is truly a gem and my only regret is that it took me so long to come here! This will definitely be a staple for me and reminds me of all the food I grew up eating at home.Udon noodles are fresh, salmon onigiri (rice ball) hit the spot, my husband loved his katsu curry and my picky-eater son is a chicken karaage connoisseur - he loved the karaage here.

I went there on Wednesday with some friends and family and the food was delicious, especially the Okonomiyaki. The atmosphere was lovely and our server was very nice to us. We will definitely be back! (Also, the shrimp tempura was very good!) (Also, I went here back in March of last year with some family and friends, and the food and atmosphere were very nice and lovely, and our server was very nice to us!)

A couple of friends and I sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef prepare the various dishes. It was both tasty and entertaining.
My husband loves Japanese culture, so I took him here for his birthday dinner. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lovely, the waiter was nice, and the food was excellent, especially the Okonomiyaki. We will be back!

The food was amazing and so was the waiter. It was like a warm comfort food that you can't get at any other place around. Strongly suggest it even if you want to do takeout.
Small, but cozy. Reservations are recommended, but they'll put you on a list for walk-ins. Absolutely worth the wait if you're on a Japanese kick.

Nice little gem in Pittsburgh. The okonomiyaki is fantastic. My udon was okay tbh but I come from a big city where Japanese food is A1. Still, for the price it wasn’t bad. The service was good and the owners are so lovely, waiter seemed a bit new though. That’s ok. Was still a lovely place to have dinner and chill. Relaxed vibe!
