If you like below subway sandwichs for lunch, this is your place! Way to go you finally did it! Seriously though... Old dry bread, unfriendly staff! Not a fan of this place or the food.

Me and my family had a wonderful time at the alcove, the karaoke and pool table were just some of the entertainment provided. The service was astounding. To put it in simpler terms, our server crushed it. The atmosphere gave gave a warm glow. The food was delicious. I will most certainly return!!

My first impression put a smile on my face. We were greeted and served by Judi. She was great. We explained it was our first time visiting. The restaurant is open and airey. The food was served fast, hot,and tasted good. Plenty of TV's. Music was good, not blaring. There are 2 large window garage doors, looking forward to the summer time experience with them opened. Lol, we'll be back before then though.Parking: Good location, not far from the parkway

This is a nice place. We had a work holiday get together. It was large enough for all of us. The food was good, bar food. My only issue was they seemed to be under staffed. Had to wait a while for drinks. Bartenders were working their butts off, but there should be more people involved with the food service part of it. Other than that, I would recommend.

First of all the food was absolutely amazing. The service is very slow, one person working behind the bar & taking tables. During my 2nd drink from the bar she used my same glass and touched my straw from the top after gathering dirty cups and taking card payments. We weren’t noticed for 10 mins after arriving.

A Unique Burger Experience at The Alcove in Greentree, PennsylvaniaRating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Alcove in Greentree, Pennsylvania, and my experience left me with a mix of delight and a slight longing for more. Despite visiting during an off-peak period, between 2 pm and 4 pm, I was treated to a unique opportunity that made my visit truly memorable. The ambiance of The Alcove is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and tasteful decor that sets the stage for a comfortable dining experience. The staff, while minimal during the quiet hours, were attentive and friendly, adding a personal touch to the overall atmosphere. What truly stood out for me was the chance to recreate an old burger that had once been a hit on the menu. The Alcove not only accommodated my request but also allowed me to step into the shoes of a chef, making the dining experience interactive and engaging. The attention to detail and willingness to accommodate personalized requests certainly elevated my visit. While I didn't get the full spectrum of the restaurant's offerings due to the off-peak timing, the quality of the food I did experience was impressive. The burger I recreated was a nostalgic delight, showcasing the chef's commitment to preserving the essence of their culinary history. The menu, although I only scratched the surface, appeared diverse and appealing, with a range of options for various tastes. I look forward to returning during peak hours to fully explore the extensive offerings and savor the full Alcove experience. In summary, The Alcove in Greentree, Pennsylvania, offers a charming ambiance, friendly service, and a willingness to go the extra mile to make your dining experience special. My unique opportunity to recreate an old favorite added a personal touch that made this visit stand out. I recommend giving this hidden gem a try and suggest timing your visit during peak hours for the complete Alcove experience.

Have only ever been here for lunch when you walk up to the rear counter to order food, and they’ll bring it to you after you seat yourself. My favorite place for chicken wraps and paninis!

My parents and I stopped in after flying from Arizona & California, with a three hour drive ahead of us. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and The Alcove's kitchen was about to close, but they graciously made us a couple sandwiches. My parents both got the chicken panini and I got the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious, fresh, and from scratch! The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was fun! I could tell they had high standards and truly delivered quality food and service.
