This is my go to place, I finally found a place that caters to keto sugar-free diabetic individuals. They made me a special birthday cake which was amazing and I go here always! . Every time there is a holiday or I got a sweet tooth they get a call :) Absolutely recommend.

Wanted diabetic desserts and they had some. There were several choices and the cheesecake bites and brownies were the best. They were very pleasant and quick prices reasonable. The place is small but nice. Would recommend. Did not try any regular pastries

A few days before Christmas I placed an order for three dozen cookies at Prantl's--the cost - One Hundred Dollars ! I cancelled the order. I went to The Cakery in West View, where I've been buying wonderful pastries since they opened. I ordered four dozen cookies for $50 and every one of the assortment was excellent--not merely good, but great.

The Cakery sells not only cakes but also cupcakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts. I had no special occasion, so I did not place an order in advance. I simply stopped by and browsed their display cases. I liked that they offered some options without sugar and gluten. I purchased several desserts, and the employee kindly served me. My favorite desserts were the raspberry-vanilla cake and the lemon pie bar. I thought that the cherry pie bar, apple pie bar, cherry-chocolate scone, and several flavors of cookies were good.

The Cakery supplied most of the cookies for my son's wedding cookie table, and made a special toasted almond torte sheet cake for the occasion. This was in November 2022. Everything was delicious and priced fairly. Amber (the owner) was very responsive and easy to work with. I hate to see the bad reviews below because that was not my experience. I highly recommend the Cakery for both the keto-friendly and regular cookies and cakes.

They even offer some desserts for diabetic and ketogenic diets.I did not need a large, custom order, so I stopped by the business to browse their offerings. I saw two display cases of cakes, bars, brownies, fudges, scones, and cookies, and I saw one refrigerator of cinnamon rolls, banana breads, muffins, etcetera. An employee immediately greeted me, and as I selected my desserts, she carefully placed them in a box for me. She made friendly conversation, accurately rang up my purchase, and kindly thanked me. Here are my reviews for my desserts:Raspberry vanilla cake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - I bought one slice of white cake that had vanilla frosting and some raspberry filling. The cake was fresh and had tart flavors, and the icing tasted sweet.Cherry pie bar - $3 - 4 stars - This bar contained a top layer of cherries. The flavor of cherries was subtler than I had expected.Apple pie bar - $3 - 3.5 stars - This bar contained a very thin layer of apple. I would recommend adding more apples for more flavor.Lemon pie bar - $3 - 5 stars - This bar had a strong taste of lemon and a nicely crispy crust.Cherry-chocolate scone - $3.25 - 3.5 stars - This scone was a large size. It contained a thin layer of cherries and chocolate chips.6 various cookies - $5 - I rate the peanut-butter cookie as 4 stars, the sugar-sprinkle cookie as 3.5 stars, the snickerdoodle cookie as 3.5 stars, the chocolate-chip cookie as 3.5 stars, the oatmeal-raisin cookie as 4.5 stars, and the chocolate-cherry cookie as 3.5 stars.
