Great atmosphere, but the food is far from authentic. Too much emphasis on garnish (especially onions!) and not enough on creating good, solid, authentic Mexican basics.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Nice chill and cozy atmosphere.Had the pick two, a shredded chicken quesadilla and beef taco. Came with a side of rice and beans. Quick service, everything was hot, and decent portions. Hit the spot and was super satisfying.

It was a great place for dinner. With a decent amount of vegetarian options, the place had a nice selection of appetizers and entrees to choose from. The drinks menu was also quite nice with some unique drinks. The quantity of the food was really niceBetween 2 of us, we ordered 1 nachos, 1 burrito, 1 pair of tacos and 2 drinks. Quite enjoyed and look forward to having their churros once

A lovely experience filled with great food and great service. So many good things to choose from, but some of the ones that stuck in my mind were the guacamole, and shrimp (grilled) tacos, and the steak dish. Oh, and my was was raving about the desert flan. The drinks were pretty well made too. Overall, a great experience. Would love to come back.

Just a Sunday night taconrun turned into something amazing. The atmosphere is subtle yet grabs your attention. The entire vibe is upbeat. The background music is enjoyable but doesn't over power your conversation. The wait staff is spectacular. The chips and salsa are great to set the tone. I suggest mix and match on the tacos. Chicken/chorizo will hot the spot. The barbacoa is exceptional. Having the fajitas sing as they finish cooking while traveling to your table is perfect. Top that off with an adult beverage; great "taco run"!!

Really awesome guacamole and warm tortilla chips! Very generous portion sizes. Friendly wait staff in a non fussy, casual atmosphere. I'm not sure I'd recommend the burrito personally (not much flavor, it was basically just rice meat and cheese) but I do think the guacamole, tortilla chips and drinks would be reason enough to stop in and get something to eat with some friends! The tacos were solid too.

Consistent! The waiters are kind when I ask for gluten free options and kitchen safety. I lived in Texas for 7 years, so my standard is little high for tex mex/mexican food. This place is the best I’ve had in pgh since moving back. The queso is the best I’ve had in pgh and genuinely better than a bunch of good restaurants in Texas. I’ve eaten here many times and never felt sick!!!Dietary restrictions: Kind and accommodating to people who have to eaten gluten free. I have never gotten sick from eating here.

This is a pretty solid spot for tacos and drinks in town! Their tacos are pretty big and I like the way their menu is set up so you get a soup or salad with your tacos. My friends liked their soup a lot and I liked my salad. The chips and guac and salad are really good here. The guac is super fresh and handmade. Service is pretty fast and the staff is nice. There is usually a wait here since it's off Walnut, not huge inside, and there's a lot of college kids in the area. Definitely recommend getting a reservation. The drinks here are really good! Theres a really nice bar. I liked my Al pastor tacos a lot and my party all liked their food.
