I had a very mixed bag experience at Will Penn the other night. I stopped in with some friends for wings & beer. The atmosphere is super crowded, but we were still able to snag a small table. Despite the crowd, service was quick which I appreciated! The beer was fine, but the food was where everything seemed hit or miss. My chicken wings were incredibly bitter and tasted like soap - I could barely get through eating a couple. Others in the group, however, had really good wings. I think what you order really matters. Also, serving sizes were super inconsistent. I ordered 6 wings but was served 12, and my friend ordered 10 wings but was served nearly 20! Food: C Drinks: B- Service: B+ Ambiance: C+

Racist bartender told my Indian friend "he doesn't belong here" after taking the beer from his hand. My husband and friend were asked to leave because of arguing with other patrons in the bar about a football game (fair). But telling my Indian friend "he doesn't belong"?? Do better.
Busy, sports, food. As busy as it gets, the folks here are still able to maintain that neighborhood pub vibe where everyone can feel welcome and like they always have room for one more. The wings are crispy, even the ones with wet sauce. ? draft beers come in the taller glasses, 20oz?Enjoy it on a busy night, but I also encourage you to swing by again on a quiet evening and just take it for what it is, a relaxing place to chill out and unwind a little. Folks are really laid back in this bar, I've never seen anyone super wound up or acting a fool. They just don't abide it.

ORDERED TO GO... ANGUS BURGER. WASNT HORRIBLE BUT NO SEASONING AT ALL WITH WET LETTUCE AND SOGGY TOMATOES. SO, MY BUN WAS GROSS. GET THIS... NO BEVERAGES. HOW DOES A RESTURAUNT HAVE NO BEVERAGES TO ORDER. NOT EVEN A CUP OF ICE TO GIVE. SO, IM ON LUCH WITH A COLD SOGGY BURGER THAT CANT BE WASHED DOWN.
