“Drove 2 hours round trip down and up the mountain from Pocono Summit after reading reviews online. Well worth the trip for a pepperoni/onion whole Sicilian and 1/2 a General Tso. Delicious and dough is awesome. We’ll definitely be road tripping back for more.“

“A most charming stroll down memory lane. Lots of neat look-sees here and old fashioned candies. They do lots of ice cream orders and the ambiance is worth a drive there. The owner is so friendly and even uses the old time rolling ladder to reach those high up treats. If my kids were little, I would definitely inquire about a birthday party there. I found BROADWAY LICORICE ROLLS and was transported back to 1976. Thanks to all the kind workers at Ballyhoo's.“

“The owner is really kind and friendly, the food was amazing, huge portions for the price as well! Plus it’s convenient, and they have fun snacks as well as candy, even nostalgic ones. You can call in your order to be ready ahead of time as well! Definitely recommend to everyone! ☺️Parking: It’s right across the street from a public bus stop and there are about two spaces for you to park in front of the building on the street but it is a very small building with limited parking. It would be better to take the public transport bus and get your food instead of driving.“

“Great Gelato place. Lots and lots of choices. I went with a black raspberry shake. There was an unexpected flavor of banana in there, not unpleasant.It was Memorial Day and a bit busy. I didn't see more than a single employee working, so the line took a bit longer. Someone didn't anticipate holiday traffic.“

“Such a delicious and nice cream shop! My friends and I were visiting from out of town. We're so happy we found this place and made a point to go again the next day before leaving town! They have a bunch of homemade hard ice cream flavors, so many toppings as well as other other hard and soft ice cream! They also have a bunch of edible cookie dough. And the price is great too!! Also ALL of the employees were so nice and helpful, I asked what multiple flavors were and taste tested a few and they were so nice! It seemed like they really enjoyed working there.“

You forget you are in Mountain Top and think you are at the beach. Great place for a date night. I stop here once in a while on my way home from work to pick up an ice cream cone. This place is cash only, So you're out of luck if you intend to pay with a credit or debit card.“

“My boyfriend and I love Malacaris. When I was pregnant with my son last year, I went every other day. ? This year I havent gone QUITE as often, but we still love Malacaris just as much. I'm surprised they're not out of the stuff to make CMP's because of me. The staff is always friendly and I always support them by buying shirts and the souvenir cups. “Stock is limited. But post Easter, most holiday items were discounted. So I can see that limit on stock. The service was amazing looking for molasses coconut, and she found it right away. I'm disappointed that they have sugar-free and pup treats, but not yet dairy alternative chocolate.Vegetarian options: Vegan no vegetarian yes.“

“We were missing our Memorial Day weekend potato pancakes at the Sweet Valley Fireman's Carnival which was cancelled in 2020.... so we took a trip up to this spot which we hadn't heard of before despite having grown up in this area. We weren't disappointed! Great potato pancakes! We got some extras to be sure we could enjoy a second night off the carnival from home' tomorrow!“
