Our server Amber was very attentive and patient with us. Wonderful ambience with a table next to the fireplace. My wife had the Shrimp scampi and I had the double pork chops which is enough for two meals. We intend on returning.

This restaurant is part of Kalahari resort and very easy to access. Jeffrey was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose our dinner items. We split the center cut rib eye and it was cooked to perfection. We had the 3 side special. Creamed corn and mushrooms were delicious. I was not a fan of the garlic mashed. The Hanging bacon appetizer was delicious. we will definitely be back
Everything was great... the food was delicious - beginning with tasty bread- thru our entrees and finishing off with the ice cream sundae cart! Our server, Noah, was terrific... so accommodating and pleasant and eager to please! Wonderful and fun for our kids while he patiently hosted the ice cream sundae cart. Would definitely return! Food was awful. I ordered a Caesar salad. The lettuce was brown. I ate one bite and couldn't eat another bite. We got the beef carpaccio appetizer. It was ok but not great. Our steaks (my strip and ribeye) came out and were ICE cold. Absolutely awful for what's supposed to be an “upscale steakhouse.” Absolutely awful. I've had better steaks at a truck stop. And all the manager did was say sorry. No offer to recook the steaks, no drink, nothing. Absolutely awful. I will never ever EVER go back.

Food came out weird, my husband and one child got their food the rest of us had to wait. We were told sushi was in a separate kitchen although that was the appetizer not the main. They brought out the other dishes (not sushi) and apologized. We were missing our sides and those came out at the end of the meal it was a mess! For the price of food they really should have it together.

We came for a spur of the moment vacation and was able to get a reservation for myself and three of my family members. We were graciously greeted and brought to our table, where Dianne took amazing care of us. I informed her it was my daughter’s birthday and we received a Birthday celebration and cake. The food was INSANE - highly recommend the filet with garlic parm and creamed corn side. I look forward to coming back during our next visit to Kalahari Resort!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and our waitress was amazing with my 8 year old ♥️

We had dinner on 4/10/24, as a party of eight. Alex, our server, was fantastic. Just a glowing personality and an eagerness to help.While we found the sushi to be unremarkable, especially for the inflated price; the filet mignon was very good. The mushrooms, as a side, were wonderful. I'd also recommend the brussel sprouts. Overall, I had low expectations of a resort-restaurant (e.g., expecting mediocre food and high prices). On the whole, we received very good/excellent food justifying the prices (at least for the steak and sides).
Very overpriced. Steak was sent back multiple times as they couldn't cook it correctly. I requested the steak to be butterflied to prevent this from happening, but they assured me that that was not necessary, and they were excellent at cooking steaks. Apparently that was a lie. The waiter was good, but the rest of the staff at the place were quite rude. Way over priced for what you get as well.

Steak was under seasoned, pretty sure that the aged steak that I received was not prime. A prime marbled steak should be tender, mine was not. I could taste the butter that it was baisted in, however the salt was non-existent. The wedge salad was good, the lobster bisque was good (lots of lobster, great sherry taste). The calamari was not crispy enough. The sides also need more seasoning. Creme Brulee was good, the lava cake was not - way too dry. The service was solid, she was cordial and attentive to us. Was disappointed that the prime rib was not served on Friday. I came for that dish due to the amazing crust it had last year.

I’m basing this review on our experience we had this past time. The service was awful. My kids did not get drink until half way through the dinner. Food came out incorrect. The fries and soup were cold. We waited over 45 mins for our food with two small children. Usually they bring kids food out first they did not. Neither the server or the manager apologized. Really poor way to handle the whole thing. Maybe it was because they sat us on the bar side not dining room side? We have been two other times and loved the food and the experience. Disappointed in how the staff handled the situation.
