Left immediately!We told the hostess that we have two in party that have a gluten allergy.In the past we've been sat at the hibachi and just had the plates with the gluten allergy prepared in the kitchen. It's never been a problem in the past.First, we were sat next to a belligerent drunk that got all bent out of shape when the hostess asked him to move over one seat to make space for us.He was swearing at us in front of our 2 children.Then when ordering the cook started giving us a hard time about being at the hibachi when we had 2 in our party that needed food prepared in the kitchen. Keep in mind the place was NOT full and there was a full hibachi empty. But they wanted to move us to the general dining room when the whole reason we were there was to see the Hibachi!!We explained it's never been a problem before but the cook continued to make it a problem so we just left!The food when we've had it was always delicious. However I doubt we will come back after this experience.Seriously, if they don't want to accommodate their guests we will go somewhere that does.

Recently went here for dinner and had a very good experience. We walked in and were seated right away. The owners wife I believe took our drink and food order as well as brought us our soup and salad included with our hibachi dinner. Then our chef came out and was very entertaining start to finish cooking in front of us and talking the food was very good and not overly expensive. Will definitely go back again

However, it's a little expensive, so you won't be able to come here easily. The miso soup tasted like detergent and I had to change it. I was disappointed that there were so many excuses, but overall I think it's a good store.

The atmosphere is good. A store founded by a Japanese person. But now Chinese people are working more. I wonder if it tastes good. However, it's a little expensive, so you won't be able to come here easily. The miso soup tasted like detergent and I had to change it. For some reason this place is up where I grew up but until now I'd never gone. I've heard the legends so I was excited to try. Also if you see my reviews you'll see I'm really on an Asian cuisine kick. So first off this is a House. Someone converted a huge ass house into a hibachi joint. Brilliant. I'd love to say it's never been done before but I have no idea if that's true. The idea seems very original. So the from door leads you into purgatory where you wait for your seat at the grill. You can make reservations but you'll have to wait until there are enough people to get a grill. Due to Hibachi's performative nature you want to fill a table. Our Chef who introduced himself as Gordon Ramsey and claimed to be from Italy was amazing. He was possibly the most fun chef I've had. I got the Tuna steak Hibachi. It was a lot of food. Every meal comes with shrimp on top of the meat you're already getting. As well as soup and salad. The food was delicious. I think they use more flavoring liquids that most hibachi places. Our chef used less butter on the rice and eggs than I've seen done at most places. That was better in my opinion. I felt better about eating it. So we finished up and our chef promised to make us waffles if we were there by 6am Saturday morning. So I might switch my favorite Hibachi place. Really hope I get the same chef when I go back.
I've eaten in here before, and while on the expensive side, the food, service and atmosphere were pretty good. Tonight, however, I ordered takeout and got a whole different side of fujiyama. I ordered 2 hibachi meals: one chicken and one filet mignon. The total came to just over $60, which I found to be a little much. When I got home and my fiance and I sat down to eat, I noticed that they only gave us one salad and one soup for the two meals. They gave us 2 sides of fried rice but no sauces for the protein which was another disappointment. The portion sizes were very small compared to what we have gotten in restaurant when we went. All in all, for the price of the food, I expected a lot more food and quality for what I got.
The owners are very nice. The staff is great. All hard working!!Kid-friendliness: It was my grandsons 10th Birthday. And Steven (our chef) was very entertaining!!
Food is good. Takeout is good. Good family owned business. Would recommend for sushi

The atmosphere and the people are friendly and wonderful. The Hibachi tables are mainly reservation and the sushi is fresh. It's on the pricey side for a hibachi house but still a pleasant experience over all.
