I love this place, but someone on staff needs to learn how to work the thermostat. Customers (including us) and a few staff complained about the cold, but were told there was nothing that could be done about it. I'll remember to bring a sweater next time.

Ordered online. Please with the prices and clean appearance of the dining area when i picked it up. Food was done in a very timely manner, and was delicious! Pancakes were way bigger than I expected for the price. Will definitely be going back here again...

Went to this diner with a friend and enjoyed the food very much. The staff was very friendly and the manager can over and asked if we were good which is always a plus. This I tried the crab cake grilled cheese with sweet potato fries on the side. Delicious.

I recently dined at a restaurant where I had the pleasure of trying their egg Benedict and French toast dishes. The overall experience was decent, but not outstanding. The egg Benedict was alright, although I wasn't particularly blown away by it. The poached egg was cooked to a good consistency, and the hollandaise sauce was decent. However, the dish lacked a certain je ne sais quoi that would have made it truly memorable. In summary, if you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a decent brunch, this restaurant might be worth a visit..

This place blew me away, Had interactions with about 5 employees and all of then were laughing and happy and genuinely good, down to earth people. EVERY SINGLE bite of food was delicious! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Not to mention the remodeling job looks stunning l.

I’m so happy this Diner is open! I love the menu and the fun specials. And the inside is very cute and retro. My bf and I have been three times. We split the California omelette and the chunky monkey French toast. The breakfast potatoes are the best I’ve ever had and the staff are all so nice and accommodating!Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options on this menu!

Came early on a Sunday for breakfast. It wasn't crowded, yet overall, the service is lacking. It felt awkward and unwelcoming. It does not have that hearty diner service that you'd expect.I ordered chipped beef (S.O.S.), which was good. The hashbrowns on the side, which cost extra here, lacked flavor and weren't cooked well. The cost for this meal is a little high.I really wanted to like this place since there are now new owners. However, the interior is exactly the same. The service is lacking all the same. The food is better, but pricier compared to other diners in the area. It feels like the exact same diner as before, which i disliked. I feel as though there are better options nearby.

Wow, they spared no expense outfitting the restaurant. Beautiful inside, great desert case. Great breakfast, great menu. The service was excellent. Very rarely do i 5 star rate however this place was top notch. Definitely, going out of their way to impress and remove any previous reputation from previous establishments. Nice job!! Onwards and Upwards!!!

I want to start off by saying, I hate giving bad reviews. We walked into this restaurant with very high hopes for a new, nice, Pottstown diner. The service and friendliness was great. But the food and attention to peoples orders was lacking. We arrived about 1:30 on a Saturday. They were busy which we were happy about. We were very patient with our waitress and waiting for our food. They seemed very overwhelmed, and unorganized. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. It was taken by the manager or the owner of the diner. We weren’t sure. He was very nice and apologetic. Our waitress was a very sweet older lady. I ordered the flounder stuff with crab meat. Which includes a “bread basket”, side salad, and two sides. I ordered the mashed potatoes with gravy and broccoli as my side. When my side salad arrived, it had tomatoes, which I asked for no tomatoes but it wasn’t a big deal because they weren’t diced. My ranch was also severely watered down. No flavor of ranch at all. When my food order arrived, my stuffed flounder was on one huge plate by itself. Looked silly. The waitress had to ask me what were my sides . I reminded her I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy and broccoli. They came out about 4 minutes later. My son ordered a bacon omelette with American cheese. It arrived with no cheese and Burnt white toast. My fiancé ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and received a grilled chicken wrap. I let the waitress know he received the wrong thing. She apologized again, and said she put the order in correctly. They just didn’t make it correctly. She then proceeded back to get the manager. He then assured my fiancé, he will make his wrap right away. He waited about 7 minutes for his correct wrap to come out. He ate two bites of it and said I had a weird aftertaste. My son and I also tasted it, and it had to be the worst wrap I’ve ever tasted. I still don’t know what that horrible taste was. It was basically a grilled chicken wrap, just lightly drizzled with generic buffalo sauce. It was seriously gross. The waitress even asked him if he didn’t like it and we told her he did not. My daughter ordered the Mac and cheese, kids meal. When it arrived it was super dry kraft mac & cheese. She also did not eat her mac & cheese which the waitress also commented about again. With my youngest daughters meal, we asked for a side of cheese whiz for her french fries. The lady said she would check if they had it. She ended up bringing my daughter cheese whiz, but we later found out it was jalapeño cheese because it was super spicy for my 5 year old daughter. (Which we were not made aware until she started freaking out because it was burning her tongue). My flounder was very mushy and slimy. I’m not even sure if it was fully cooked on the inside. The mashed potatoes was good and the broccoli was very crunchy. We didn’t complain that so much was messed up or just not good when we got our bill. We didn’t want to be a karen. We went to pay our bill and realized they charged us for 4 sodas when we had 2. Not only do they forget your order but they try to overcharge you. Almost $12 for 2 sodas. Our waitress again apologized and said that was her managers fault. I pray this diner can catch up and get more organized. There’s such potential here and they did amazing on the renovations. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was all super friendly, overwhelmed and apologetic. I hope to return in a few weeks/months to update this review with positive feedback. Praying it’s just a grand opening fluke. I’m rooting for this diner.

The food is soo good and at a great cheap price you are able to get a lot of food. My whole meal was only $25.

Me and my boyfriend loved to dine here when it was the Pottstown Diner. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Now, The new management is great! He went around asking everyone how they were doing, it was nice. My only critics are how chaotic the host and waitresses were. They kept coming up to us asking if we needed drinks (we had drinks) and if we needed to order(we already ordered). It was kind of annoying. The other critic I have were the portions. I got the American cheese burger and was delicious! No complains. However, my fries were disappointing. If I’m going to spend $10-$13 on a burger and fried. I would like that amount on my plate. So I would say just be a little more generous on the fries. I receive more fries at Chic fil la than the amount I got.Other that it was great! Our first time there wasn’t bad. Me and my bf will be back! :)

I stopped in today for a quick lunch and ordered the Turkey Club sandwich and I’ve got to say it was the best I’ve had in years. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh! The bacon was crispy but not over cooked, the turkey was moist and the bread was toasted to perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like I like and the service was on point! 10 out of 10 recommend!

When I was a wee lad, my mommy would take me to the diner. I would sit on the weirdly shiny plastic high chair and grip the stubs of crayons between my sticky sausage fingers. I scrawled on the placemats, filling them with lines of colored wax. What was a collection of scribbles to others, was a portrait of my subconscious: messy and unorganized, overflowing with nonsensical ideas. I was oblivious to the world until my canvas was covered by a plate of (heavily) buttered toast and scrambled eggs. These memories were forgotten, buried under all the years of growth and pain and yet, upon my entry to this homely diner, it all came rushing back. Before I knew it, I was drinking coffee, not great, but bad enough to make me appreciate it. Our waitress was the kindest, reminding me of the grandma I've never had. My omelet, pancakes, toast, and hashbrowns tasted exactly like they should, like they have every other time I've eaten at a breakfast place. I could ask for nothing more, and I'd be appalled at the notion of King Diner delivering anything less. I implore you to pay a visit to King Diner, not just to Eat breakfast, but to feel whole. In short, I can't help but to fantasize about the next time I dine here, and maybe next time, you'll be included in that fantasy. With that, I must go. My eggs are getting cold... Go in peace to love and serve the Lord, Barry B.

We stopped in for Breakfast not knowing what to expect. We were not disappointed The dining area was very clean and nothing was out of place. The wait staff was very friendly. We ordered eggs over light and fried potatoes, which were perfectly done. Our coffee was refreshed for no extra charged. We will return.
