“The food was absolutely amazing. I got the drunken chicken parm. For my dad to even be impressed I was shocked. Considering he’s not into the garlic to much and considering he don’t even eat salad dressing on his salad. Lol. I will definitely be going back. Only down side was the ice tea tasted like water. Needs more flavor. Just happy I took some of my co workers suggestion and try it out.“
“Delightful setting for solid diner fare. Attentive but not obstructive waitstaff, though they could beef up the host stand and check out procedure. Flounder special was good but slightly overdone, but that's a common flounder problem. Overall I'd get there again and definitely try one of those amazing desserts ;-)“
“Great good, as always. I'm not sure how long ago the decision was made since I don't get here often, but I was sad to hear that the lobster bisque is no longer on the menu. A bowl of that with some of the fresh, warm biscuits to do in it was a perfect treat. Otherwise, it was a great experience.“
“Dinner for two. Sat at a high top near the bar. Cocktail menu is interesting with locally sourced spirits. I had a very well done Old Fashioned using Bourbon from Chester County. Had the heaping plate of calamari for starter and the duck special for me and the meatballs over penne for my wife. Both were great. Service was not fast but timely. Sometimes entrees come out too soon after starters. This was not the case. I felt the food arrived at the appropriate time. I would like to go back with friends to relax in the lounge and try their tapas menu. Great find in a small town.Parking: Pretty large lot behind the building.“
“Stopped on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. Quick attentive service from multiple staff members. Fool's Gold cocktails, Wood-Fired NY Strip and Flat Iron Steak "Wild Man" ... Excellent! As were the House & Gorgonzola Salads and Fries (standard & sweet potato). The Black Truffle was recommended as an after-dinner cocktail and it was a perfect ending to our meal. Decor, atmosphere, the hint of a wood fire, and friendly courteous service made a fantastic afternoon. I'm glad we stop! ?“
“Really good dim sum. Not sure about other dishes. Online ordering is super easy. Space is cute, cozy and centrally located. Staff is friendly and helpful too. Only downside is the typical, terrible Phoenixville parking. If you go, will probs have to search for spot, but the food and staff make it worth it. I just wish that they had a pickup area out back or something. Will def be back.Parking: Terrible but not their fault. Could use a designated pick up spot or two.Kid-friendliness: Could be but it's rather tight.Wheelchair accessibility: Kind of accessible. Space is small and things are close.“
“Gracie's is my home away from home. It's always so warm and welcoming there. The food is THE BEST on the planet and NOTHING is ever too much trouble. The staff are all so great and Gracie is the Mom you never knew you needed until now. She's is the glue that makes it my favorite place to visit! Can't say enough good things about the whole experience. And believe me- It is an experience!“
“My friends and family have been coming to Karpy's for many years! It's a great place to catch up with friends and family and enjoy a nice hot meal in the smoke-free dining room. Joe always makes us feel at home and has a nice frosty mug on the table for us as soon as we sit down! My 6 year old daughter loves the cheeseburgers and we've had many a daddy/daughter lunch date at Karpy's. Come for the most reasonably priced food and drinks around and stay for the conversation. The meatballs are insanely good and impossibly tender. Wishing Joe and Mrs. K many more years of success in their business which has always felt like home. KARPY DIEM!“
“I recently dined at Douglassville Hotel Restaurant & Bar, and it was an exceptional experience. The burgers are undoubtedly the best in the area, offering a diverse menu with over 100 options. The staff's dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, as they work tirelessly to ensure a delightful dining experience. To top it off, the desserts are truly fantastic, adding a sweet note to an already impressive culinary journey. A must-visit for burger enthusiasts and those with a sweet tooth!“
“I had stopped coming here for a long time, but decided to give it another shot. As often happens, there are new owners who have done a great job in revitalizing the food. Absolutely recommend giving a try, especially if it’s been a while since you’ve been here.“
“Found out they have 50 cent wings here every Monday, so my family and I came to try them out. We were not disappointed, they were nice and crispy on the outside but still juicy. Plenty of sauce too, and the Bleu cheese was very good. The regular menu was pretty reasonably priced as well, we will be back again for sure. Service could have been a bit better, but it was pretty busy and they had some kind of event going on in the dining room as well.Kid-friendliness: We sat at the bar, but seems like a kid-friendly place.“
“It's most likely a phase, however, haven eaten here multiple times in the past year it has shockingly, in resent, has declined, noticably. Blue points, 3 were ordered, two of the smallest oysters I ever experienced anywhere and the third was laughably a sliver and in no world should have been served. All condiments and sauces are now served in a plactic cups on the plates, no ceramic ramican dishes. The art of service is deminishing, so if you charge $30 for a pork chop or a roast beef french dip, I suggest that the dip, ketchup and horseradish sauces or vinegar for oyesters shouldn't be in clear two inch plastic cups rattling around the plate! What, Arby's wantabe style? This was dinnertime mind you! I thought the presentation more appropriate if seated on the blacktop out side.“
“This has been our family's go-to takeout place for the past 8 years. My kids have grown up loving their "dippy chicken" (sweet and sour), and their lo mein has gotten us all through some bad days. Feeling down? Go get yourself some lo mein from Mayflower, make yourself a cup of tea at home, and cozy up under a soft blanket. If I'm having an especially rough day, a side order of steamed vegetables and some crab rangoons can make the world feel a little better. My youngest child says the only way he likes cashews is when he has the cashew chicken from Mayflower. My husband, without fail, orders the bourbon chicken every time. Even when he says he might want to switch it up, we all know he'll still end up ordering the bourbon chicken. For good reason - it is incredibly good! I usually order their pad thai. I know, they are not listed as a thai food place, but they still make the best pad thai I've had within a 20 mile radius! I like to get mine extra spicy so it has a little kick. Their Mongolian beef is good. I've gone through a few phases where I'll prefer their Schezuan chicken or hunan chicken, or I'll feel like trying something a bit different - everything I've tried has been good. I will say that I prefer the white rice over fried, I don't order the general tsao's very often because I find it a little too sweet, and while I don't mind their boneless spare ribs, they aren't something I order often as they can be a little dry, but those are all personal preferences. Also, thank goodness for online ordering! I have anxiety and trouble hearing, which can make talking on the phone or placing orders in person nearly impossible at times, so I greatly appreciate the ability to click a few buttons and know that my order will be ready quickly. That said, the people are always very friendly, their delivery driver always greets me with a smile, and it's clear that a lot of care is put into their business. I look forward to many more years, knowing if I ever need a little joy through the day, an order from Mayflower is a great place to start.“
“Food and service was fine. Noise level required shouting to your dinner partner across the table in order to be heard. This was due to a table of 14 happy people all talking very loudly next to us. Would have been nice if the large party had their own room.“
“Great, fresh Mexican food. A variety of items on the menu, so there is something for everyone. Many items are a la carte so it allows you to have a little bit of everything. The new blackberry aguafresca is delicious and refreshing. The carnitas quesadilla is fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of the chips and salsa, but they seem house made. Reasonably priced. Online ordering is easy.Parking: Parking in Phoenixville in general on the weekends is difficult. We usually travel in pairs. The driver drops off sometime to pick up the food and then drive around the block until the person is ready. Not easy, but easier than finding parking.“
“We had such a great visit at El Tequila! Pictured are the grilled chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, chips and guacamole and chorizo tacos. We had a great visit and received great service from Danny! I recommend this location for group dinners, family/ friends dinner, or even a private party/ venue. They have a restaurant space, and 2 large event spaces perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, or even a wedding reception! I will definitely visit again.“
“We ate there today, we had wings and a spinach and artichoke dip for appetizers. Both were delicious. They even toasted the chips for the dip. We also bought a cheeseburger and fries and they toasted the roll. I think they paid attention to the details which matter. We sat at the bar and waitress staff were attentive. I would go back.“
“Walking in here and you're in aroma heaven! First time ordering here, and absolutely in love with this place! Friendly staff, great food, welcoming environment, and makes me think of home(Az)!Thank you guys, I will be back. A lot! ❤️“
