We came from out of town to try this place based on its google reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a Sunday, and there was like a 20 minute wait for two of us to get a table. After being seated, service was ok…not perfect, but not necessarily bad either. My husband and I both really enjoyed our breakfast meals that we ordered, and we both agreed that we liked the breakfast potatoes here. More often than not, we can’t seem to find a place that has good breakfast potatoes, so it was a pleasant surprise. We loved that they have some menu items that are different from a lot of other breakfast places, and the prices were fair. It’s unfortunate that this place is a little far away for us, but on days we have a little extra time for breakfast, we will definitely consider this as an option.

The Sunflower is a staple of the area and a go to for myself and my friends. The food is reliably delicious, hence why we frequent them so often. The only drawback is that the venue is so small for their popularity. Often times on weekends there will be a wait time due to the high volume of people. I think that speaks for itself. Highly recommend anyone in the area stop by!

I've been coming here for years, but it has been about a year now. Some of the issues have always been but "were" not enough to stop us coming, and others are new and Cooking 101 . First, if you like your breakfast potatoes brown, then you are out of luck. They still will not cook the potatoes any extra than they already are. That has always been an issue with this place. The problem now is that the potatoes are way undercooked. Let's say rare on a scale for reference (not raw but close). They are also seasoned with some paprika it seems, but just enough to make them look a bit red without adding flavor. The taste is pretty much like having cubed potatoes boiled in water until not quite cooked enough and put on the plate with no seasoning at all. Second. Eggs over. Careful when ordering over-easy. Two sets of eggs came out, one was way overcooked (yolks were solid), and the other plate was really undercooked (but I ate them). The overcooked set was sent back and returned even more undercooked than the others. When letting the waitress know, she explained that some runny white is to be expected with over easy. I told her I agreed but that as with meat, there is a difference between raw and rare, and these eggs were raw. (Good analogy is Pittsburgh Rare for a steak. Seared on the outside, blue/raw on the inside). The waitress apologized and asked if my wife wanted something else. By this time, I was finishing my breakfast with the first set of raw eggs, so she said no and just ate the rest of her Flying Crab dish.We also had a side of zucchini bread. It was bland and lacking any flavor outside of a plain quick bread that was lacking a pinch of salt (this was not the zucchini bread of old that they used to make). We also had a side of bacon and scrapple. The bacon is very good, as well as their scrapple. With all of this, there is another issue that bothers me. Does the waiit staff have any training on e what food should look like, or are they not even bothering to look at what they are serving. At the end of the day, the ideas are good on the menu, but the execution is lacking.

They wanted to serve the extra food they made for the daily special being understaffed instead of taking an order and it was not near closing it was mid hours. I suppose every restaurant has tough days and supply shortages but I'm not going back.

The food is always amazing, and they source their ingredients locally so the food is always fresh. They can get busy, but they always work hard to get people seated, and the service and food are always amazing.

One of my favorite breakfast spots. Food is amazing! Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is always buzzing and positive. They have amazing artwork hung all throughout and some are for sale. The food is local sourced and they also sell homegrown sides. I have never been disappointed, love this place.Vegetarian options: They have many vegan options and clearly label everything.Parking: Huge parking lot, free parking.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere and kid accommodations.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, very easily accessible.

They have some of the best foods, I have gone many times, with work or with friends and family, I have never had something that I wouldn’t get again. The specials are always delicious and you’ll think about them for the next time, but won’t be available because it works off of seasonal fruits and vegetables. All the staff has been kind and helpful. The art inside is local artists.
