Best Jamaican food in town! We frequent Island Pride and Welcome to the Avenue. Both are amazing establishments with awesome chefs! Service is great! Try it, you will NOT be disappointed.

The lady that works in this establishment attitude is horrible! I really be wanting to support this place but the attitude is such a turn off! I don’t feel good giving my money to people with such a nasty attitude! Make people feel welcomed they will be glad to spend their money. I rather just go up the block where the customer service is better, prices are better, and atmosphere is welcoming!

Baaa-bbbyy!!! DON'T sleep on this one okaaaaayyyy!!! When I tell you they take PRIDE in their food preparation THEY DO! That shrimp curry SLAPS!! I went for the whiting for lunch and they didn't disappoint ? Amazing flavor, beautiful golden brown and all of the spices compliment one another to give you that special "Island Pride" that only THEY can deliver. Yeahhhh Mon they are the truth...and they are soo friendly. Great experience overall ??

The rice tasted like it had burned and was salvaged, the goat was good, but I felt deceived because, they opened the lid like I was getting what I paid for, what I received was a container of rice, with goat and broth. For a large dinner, the container had sections thinking the one would be with goat, it was rice!!! Virtually very little goat. Weak compared to the normal dinner.

Went to Island Pride today and was blown away by the Curry Goat, J*** Chicken, plantains, beans/rice, and stewed cabbage. It was an amazing marriage of flavors on my palate.I've been wanting to try them for a while now, but was excited to see them open for the 4th of July parade today in Pottstown.My husband and I ran right over, the safe were super friendly and excited for us to try their food. Everything was great about my experience, and I can't wait to tell everyone I know about Island Pride and how great their food is.

I’ve made special requests (**** Salmon-delicious) and the team always accommodated us and always ensured our food was top quality and always fresh!
