If you're looking to get your propane tank filled at the Quakertown BJ's do yourself a favor and pay more and go somewhere else. It will save you the aggravation of dealing with the most miserable, lazy man EVER! We went today for the second time to get propane after giving a pass to this miserable man the one other time we went there. He said he couldn't fill our tank because there was a storm warning alert for the next 15 minutes. When I asked if I could wait, he said he heard thunder. This tire/propane guy is a real gem! Totally done with BJ's. Definitely will not be renewing my membership. I don't know about the other BJ's, but I'm done!!

Just a word to the wise. If your are considering a purchase from BJ's that involves shipping from their shippers, CEVA, be prepared to be frustrated out of your mind. We purchased a 65" TV online during Black Friday deals. We ordered it on 11/28/21. Here are the details of shipping we received from CEVA. It was prepared and shipped from a CEVA center in Hartford, CT on 12/1/21. It then went to another CEVA center in Xbridge, MA. (Problem, we live in the Pocono Mts. which is southwest of CT. MA is northeast of Ct.) It then traveled to NYC on 12/2/2021. (Great, we live 2 hours from NYC, straight west on I 80) We also received a text message on the same day which read, "Today's the day! Your BJ's shipment is out for delivery." How stupid of us. We assumed it was on its way from NYC and would arrive in the late afternoon of 12/2/21. It did not arrive. The next morning we checked the tracking info on CEVA's site, expecting to see our TV somewhere in NJ or PA. No, it was now in Philadelphia, three and one half hours southeast of us. So, the journey for our TV should have been 189 miles from Hartford to Henryville, PA. Instead it travelled 74 miles from Hartford to Xbridge. Then 189 miles from Xbridge, MA to NYC after which it travelled an additional 94 miles to get from NYC to Philadelphia. Now, my precious TV has to travel 119 miles from Phil to Henryville. Let's total the excess miles this shipment has travelled. It will travel 476 miles to make a 189 mile trip. To add insult to injury, the expected delivery date is 12/10/21. They need 7 days to travel 119 miles. Please keep in mind this TV on 12/2/21 was 84 miles from our home. So, moral of the story, if you are ordering any large item from BJ's that has to shipped via CEVA, you may want to consider a company that uses FedEx or another shipper. I know that shipments are taking longer than usual, but whoever does logistics for CEVA shipments needs to buy an old fashion map and figure out more economical routes. This company has to be losing money on the cost of gasoline for their trucks. Poor service to say the least. Confusing text message, absolutely. Does BJ's care, don't think so. Don't say you weren't warned.

Read my comment under another’s post. Your service barely exists. You pay someone to stock the merchandise you want to sell. And that’s where it stops. You have new employees all the time because you pay crap. And then You cut hours on employees because you don’t want full time employees because you don’t want to pay any benefits. You are a corporation that is NOT good for AMERICAN workers. I’ve been a member in Quakertown since you’ve opened. I can see a difference in service and your prices aren’t that great, not to mention some products you no longer offer.

First you have to pay for a membership to shop. Then you don't get the services. I shopped today and before 4 p.m. the bakery was dark, nobody in the meat department. There were 2 team members in the deli, wow. I asked to get a pound of meat slIced and was told the deli is closed they had to clean. I then went to the customer service and was told the deli should be open the same as the store but was closing at 6. Remember it's 4 p.m.. I asked for the nsanger and Melinda came

This store has the worst customer service, employees cannot be trusted to give accurate information and there is no integrity. Called the store recently regarding a purchase I made that day because my coupon book finally arrived in the mail (quite late) to see if my receipt could be adjusted to utilize the coupons. The woman I spoke with said it was "no problem at all, to just bring it with the next time I come in, there is no need to hurry back in for the adjustment."

So foolish me, I listened and belived what the employee told me and didn't hurry back - when I went in to have the receipt adjusted they told me they couldn't do the adjustment because the coupons are expired now (even though they weren't at the time of purchase). Totally screwed me out of $10.50, not right...incompetent employees there always some kind of problem at this store. Need better training for employees!

Probably one of the worst places I've worked... the job itself was not bad but the management at the Quakertown location is not good at all. They play favoritism and will not come to their employees directly. They will have other employees come to us if we did something wrong. If the registers are very busy and the cashiers are overloaded the managers will stand their and talk instead of helping or opening another register. They will also talk among themselves and other employees about your business... they are very immature. I do not recommend getting a job here!

Bj's has consistently gone downhill over the past few years. Cleanliness? Downhill. Prices? Up and down. Worst? Employees don't seem to like working there and seem to be generally unhappy to the point of being unhelpful with customers. I had been a member there since the week they opened. Little things? Ok no problem. Nobody's perfect. I got a gun safe at a reasonable price. They brought it up front laying on a cart and refused to help load it because they had a workers comp case from one. No. They would not help me load it. No. They would not even stand it up on a cart so the person I brought back with me the second time and I could load it. They ignored me when I went back to shipping. They would not use the shipping door so I could load it down instead of up. They would not let me switch receipts with another of the 10 in the back (it seems I wasn't the only one) that was standing upright on a cart, and I wasn't being obnoxious. They just did not want to do one iota more than they had to. This is my point. Their workers do not help the customers find the answer to a problem. I have not seen this sort of thing since living in China in the 80's! I am the canary in the mine who has died here. I quit and will not come back. There is a Sams club 2 blocks away. I go there now. If I buy a bunch of stuff, they help! Not BJ's!

It's a shame but I'm considering not renewing my membership. I pay to shop there & then am expected to ring up my order! There is only ever one cashier working. To make matters worse this past week there was a couple in front of us that she walked off & continued shopping. The husband couldn't do anything himself so we had to keep waiting while she ran off for 1 more thing! The cashier should have told them that they had to wait till they were finished shopping instead of making the rest of us wait. I hear that Costco has cashiers working so even though their location isn't as close maybe it's time to switch!

Good store. Helpful staff

Surprised that Quakertown BJ prices for some items are more expensive than Montgomeryville BJ prices since Quakertown generally has a less expensive cost of living.

It is absolutely worth getting a BJ's membership!! Even though my family is made up of just my wife and I we still make use of our membership here. Why is it worth it for just two people?? Well whenever we have a barbeque and need some beverages, snacks and large amounts of just about anything we come here. You definitely get a bang for you buck. Secondly, the price on the electronics is really good!! I just bought an office size printer for a really low price. But it's not for my office it's for my house. Our all in one, HP brand printer was really cheap compared to other printers. The staff is pretty helpful and I was greeted with nothing but a smile to each staff member that serviced me on my visit. Make sure you sign up for BJ's!!!

We usually shop at the Quakertown store and were there yesterday afternoon. As usual the staff was friendly, professional and very helpful! However one incident at the check out just got to me, I normally do self-checkout, but had a shoulder replacement recently, so I went to the regular check-out in case I needed help. There were at least 5 customers in line and the woman at the checkout slowly went thru her whole coupon book looking for coupons and then tearing them out rig

If you like buying in bulk this is your place.

I've had issues at BJ's tire center in Quakertown, PA. It seems as though they are over-tightening the lug nuts and then when you go to take them off, the studs break or strip. COSTLY REPAIR!!!
