I'm so, so happy they moved to my town! We used to visit their shop when they were in Quakertown, a few towns over, but now they are within walking distance! I love their Walburgers, and their macaroni dishes are some of the best I've ever had, vegan or not. Their homemade vegan honey mustard is super tasty... like I purchased a soup bowl of it level tasty. Their new storefront is beautiful for just hanging out, and the staff is overall very friendly. They also recently had an awesome vegan market, which I hope they do again!

Got the seitan cheesesteak and fried artichoke tacos. Good flavors and good presentation. I've tried a lot of vegan restaurants and was unhappy with the food but this place is really good.

I got the sweet potato fries with the Sriracha aioli. I think the fries could've been cooked a little longer, but they weren't bad, and the aioli was fantastic. I had the small vegan Mac n cheese and do not plan on getting it again. It tasted like a very watered down Alfredo sauce. I got a specialty Mac as well and had to put marinara sauce on it to give it flavor. I plan on coming back to try other options, but the Mac is off the list for me.

I have to admit I walked into this store thinking it was the old BBQ place. I was pleasantly suprised with nice staff that greeted me, and delicious food, which shocked me, being I am probably the farthest person from being a vegan. I enjoyed the soup and seitan steak sandwhich and they were amazing! I will definitely be back.

My favorite restaurant, now in an absolutely beautiful building! Being able to dine in as a family is an absolute game changer! There is something everyone will love on the menu! Our picky two year old scarfed down the cheesey garlic bread tonight and even ate some of our food. I enjoyed the fried artichoke tacos and my gluten free fiancé loved his bang bang tacos covered in their homemade hot sauce. We all shared the Cajun fries which were perfectly crispy and got desserts to go. As a vegan/ gluten free family going out to eat is an absolute treat and can be very expensive but Clean Roots has been a saving grace for us. And now we also have the option to come on Sundays! So thankful to have them in our community!

Your specialty is vegetable base food and you served canned vegetables?!Both my wife and I had canned veggies in our meals. This alone is unacceptable to a vegetable lover. Food was also very sweet and salty. French onion soup shouldn’t be that sweet. It’s the easiest soup to make, it only takes time. You don’t add sugar to it. I also question some of the flavor combinations, like the sweet pineapple killing any umami from chipotle mushrooms in one of the tacos.I hope it improves but I can’t try again anytime soon. You need to buy local veggies and make meals based around the season with balanced flavor. Hire a chef that loves vegetables.

My wife and I tried Clean Roots tonight for the first time. (Full disclosure, this is the first time we've ever even wanted to try vegan). Both the Mac attack and the lobster roll were delicious. Both meals exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back ?

Excellent! My daughter is vegan, visiting from Michigan, and found on Happy Cow. Decided to try - we both loved our lunches. Got extra sweet potatoe fries to go! Would recommend highly. Great to see a vegan place like this so close by.
