“Ordered takeout from here tonight. Panini (came with cole slaw and a bag of chips) and kid’s chicken fingers (came with fries) were ok, nothing special. But on a whim I added a cannoli to my order, and that was the best decision ever. The filling was so good I could have eaten a bowl of it. Next time I’m skipping dinner and just getting two cannoli!“

Grida's soft Ice Cream Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt • $

“Amazing sundaes! I love ice cream so I have tried quite a few dessert places in the area and nothing compares to Grida’s. They have so many flavors of soft serve. Aside from the ice cream, they also have a good food menu. The cheese fries and mozzarella sticks are surprisingly delicious for a little family owned ice cream shop. The prices are very fair for the quality of food. I live in Hatfield, but never hesitate to take the drive over to Quakertown when I’m in the mood for some ice cream and finger foods. I’m extremely impressed with everything I’ve tried so far here. I wish they were open year round!“

“The food is good. The price is reasonable. The regular fries were kinda plain but otherwise the food was good. They stream wrestling so you have something to watch. Wrestlers have stopped by, which is cool.If you are a wrestling fan and are stopping by, give them a look.“

Pete's Cheesesteaks American • $$
Quakertown

“The best part of flying out of Philadelphia International Airport is lunch at Chickie's and Pete's. We have been coming here for many years and always order Mussels Red. There are at least 2 dozen large mussels served in a rich marinara sauce. A generous roll is included. Ask that the roll be warmed. It's much better. Service was very good. There is table service and also a Take Out window. We believe this is the best place to eat in the airport.“

“Nestled inside the Quakertown Farmers and Flea Market half way between Philadelphia and Allentown, Pennsylvania stands a hidden gem of cheese steaks finds. While visiting Quakertown Farmers Market for the first time I decided to put the my whole South Jersey vs Philadelphia cheese steak battle to the test could Zaio's rank up there being close to Allentown? Yes it can! So to make it simple American cheese with fried onions let's skip the whole wiz battle for another time.. First bite impression SUPER SUPER soft chewy roll amazingly good. Steak is coming in very tasty good seasoning cooked perfect has a good amount of oil to keep it juicy. Onions are perfect a little on the sweet side not bitter chopped up small. American cheese coming in on the thicker side very tasty really adding to the super soft chewy roll.. This cheese steak honestly is one of the best I have ever had from start to finish it's on my official go to list now of my Top 10 favorite cheese steak spots! The location had some small seating and also services fries, chicken cheese steaks etc.. The staff were very friendly and the prices were perfect. 5 out of 5 stars all day long you don't have to go to Philly to get a great cheese steak you can get one out here in Quakertown also!“

Philly Pretzel Factory Pretzel Store • $
1465-12 W Broad St, Quakertown

“Hate the fact they don't support the military or seniors by offering a discount. When I asked the owner he even questioned me like I don't have a DD 214 to back it up,how insulting. Also you should order the day of pick up. I made the mistake of ordering the day before and the order of 60 pretzels for my high schoolers were breaking off in chunks and hard like they were made the night before and left out overnight. No more pretzel factory for me, ever!“

“I've been coming to Potts' since I was a little kid. They've been part of the Coopersburg family for over 10 years now and don't seem to be disappearing anytime soon. At just over $2 a hot dog with toppings you surely can't go wrong. Every single bit is just simply full of flavor. Hot dogs are normally boring in my unprofessional opinion, but Potts' Dog House surely brings the flavor to a whole new level. My personal favorite is a chilly/cheese dog!“

Chili Dog

“Yocco's Hot Dog King is a 100+ year old cultural phenomenon in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, where frankfurters are truly snack royalty. There are a half dozen of these small fast food outlets by this name (as well as several other franchises and independent dog houses) around these parts. Our reason for stopping- a need for a break after a long drive home from Niagara Falls. Although still 75 minutes away, we like Yocco's individually handgrilled sausages from past visits, and our hunger after 6 hours on the road had us looking forward to the break and even fantasizing about that first bite and snap. We ordered a dozen of their classics, grilled and rolled with mustard, onion bits and a thin smear of their unique savory chili. Each was wrapped in white paper and boxed in plain cardboard. We also grabbed a large size crinklecut fries. We were really hungry, and quickly wolfed down those crisp babies as we drove south again toward Quakertown and then onto Route 313 all the way to Newtown. Sorry. No pics, as that Yelp courtesy was forgotten by our yowling bellies. We scarfed down two hots dogs apiece in the car, saving the final two for our kitchen table. While I wouldn't have them as a regular part of my diet, these Yoccos really hit the spot. No apologies. There will be a next time, and we will also try their pierogi as a side for the King of Hot Dogs.“
