Enjoyed reading the reviews as we were looking for a good Italian restaurant. We were not disappointed. Most authentic Italian food! My husband and I started with the calmari. Probably the best we've ever had! He had gnocchi with bolognese and I had the nonnas Sunday special with spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and braciole. Anna and Marie were wonderful and accommodating and we couldn't have had a better experience. Finished off with cannoli and cappuccino. Have not tasted better connoli!

Best Italian restaurant in the area. Authentic and delicious Italian foods, lovely ambience, friendly. Anna, the owner, is always a pleasure to talk with. She remembers her regulars and what they typically order. The style of the menu is typical Italy with the pasta as the 1st course and the meat dish as the second. Pasta can be ordered in small (1st course) servings or a full servings as the meal. The Frutti de Mare and Carlino pasta are our favorite dishes. A hidden gem!

For a place that seems in the middle of nowhere. This might be one of the most authentic Italian restaurants. I have been in outside of new york city. I enjoyed a pork chop special which was absolutely incredible. I followed up dessert with the chocolate bread pudding and wow it was just divine.

LOVE La Campagna! Honestly, some of the best Italian food in the area. Family-owned, prices are great, and it's BYOB. Always leave here happy and full.

The staff treat you like family, it's boisterous and fun inside like a proper red sauce place. The food is so delicious!
We tried this place for the first time tonight for our fourth anniversary due to a bunch of people recommending it and oh my goodness. It was DELICIOUS. Everyone who helped us was so sweet and kind. I'm an Italian New Jersey "transplant" and it made me feel so at home. My husband stated that he was sad for his past self because young him got excited when his mom brought home Little Caesars and he didn't even know what he was missing and how good pizza could possibly be. The dessert was immaculate. Definitely will be coming back:)
RUDE!! As others said too. We walked in and could tell right off the bat that we didn't receive a warm welcome. Upon being seated and asked if we had any questions, I asked if the chef could possibly cut up the chicken for me because I have a broken hand. Would you believe she told me "No. We don't do that". Then she said she'd ask, and I said repeatedly that I didn't want to put anybody out. I'd order something else. After she walked away, my husband looked at me and I read his mind. We both said it together, let's leave! We left! No one said a word.Wow.

My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and thought we’d have to fly back just to have such amazing Italian food again—turns out, we just needed to drive 15 minutes to La Campagna. What we thought was going to be a quick one-course meal evolved into baskets of fresh Italian bread, some of the best calamari we’ve ever had, two incredible entrees, desserts, & cappuccinos. The women who are cooking (and serving!) the food have clearly been perfecting these recipes for quite some time. We cannot wait for another date night here!

Let’s get something straight here. You are not allowed to bring homemade desserts to a restaurant.. I have plenty of customers that bring cakes in from certified bakeries. All food bought into the restaurant needs to be traceable.

We went for a birthday party, brought our own cakes but weren't allowed to bring in. The person informing me of this was extremely rude! Just lost a few customers.
