SUCH a wonderful experience, from the comfort food, to the attentive service, to the beautiful and cozy atmosphere. I feel with the maza platter and the vegetarian sampler and multiple desserts, we must have ordered about a third of the menu - and *everything* was delectable. Will be trying more meats when we return, which we will. If you decide to try, you're going to want to return as well. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for satisfying and wholesome comfort food. 10/10 ???(Also worth mentioning that we ordered dine-in, and needed takeout after eating [yeah, that good] - the food is so satisfying either way, unlike some that does not travel well.)Vegetarian options: Lots of the options are vegetarian friendly, though as a meat eater I didn't ask about cross contamination.Parking: Easy peasy, truly no stress.

Decent Middle Eastern food, priced unreasonably. They seem a little too excited about making money. Although food was above average overall, we didn't find it worthwhile the prices and wait.No soups. No loose tea. No complimentary bread to start. No fresh nor warm bread to go with the apps. No tap water!! No sides or sauces on the main course platter...Top all of it with a 20-30 min wait to get the food! You would expect a bit more out of a $90 dinner for two food and service wise! I have no problem spending money but only if I see value.Hummus was some of the best I've ever had!Everything else was about the average- falafel and shawarma being incredibly dry.

Food was served hot and with great flavors, the lamb and steak were both great. Bruschetta was very tasty and left me wanting more… Lastly, I will definitely be back even if it just for the Ice Cream With Ghazel Banat….. it was sooooo good!!

My husband and I went during lunch hours. restaurant is nice and roomy with a lot beautiful decor. We were greeted by who I believe is the owner. He had a big smile when we came in, it felt welcoming and inviting. I got the Aladdin plater with a side of hummus. The hummus was the star of the plate, so creamy and flavorful, the rice pilaf was very good and flavorful. My husband got the Bubbah ghanoush and beef shwarma, he really enjoyed it. Overall a great experience and we will be going there again!

Used to be my favorite restaurant, then they got suuuuuper greedy after the pandemic died down a bit and doubled their prices across the entire menu. Don't think we didn't notice that, Sir. So I won't be returning. Just absolute insane mentality.

Disappointing Experience Despite High HopesWe visited Aladdin Restaurant with great anticipation. The promise of a flavorful meal was met with a good, albeit not extraordinary, dining experience. However, the good taste was overshadowed by the value for money. The prices seem steep considering the portion sizes, prompting one to expect a bit more from such an establishment.Patience is a virtue they say, and patience I did have, but the long wait for our meals tested it considerably. Yet, this was something I could overlook, as a busy kitchen often means freshly prepared fare. That being said, my ultimate concern and the decisive factor in my review lie within the realm of customer service. At the close of our meal, we were blindsided by a rather inconvenient policy - the inability to accommodate separate checks for a party larger than six. The lack of prior notice regarding this payment policy was surprising and certainly not indicative of the customer-first approach we expect from dining venues today. A simple heads-up at the time of ordering would have been greatly appreciated and would have afforded us the opportunity to split the check while in the ordering phase. In the competitive landscape of the restaurant industry, it is the subtle intricacies of customer service that elevate a dining experience from mediocre to memorable. Unfortunately, on this occasion, Aladdin Restaurant fell short in this crucial aspect. It is with a heavy heart that I convey my disillusionment, as I genuinely wanted to like this place. However, under the present circumstances, it seems unlikely that I will return. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I sincerely hope this review is taken as an opportunity for Aladdin Restaurant to refine its service. An adjustment in policy or, at the very least, a transparent communication of it could pave the way for a much more commendable customer service experience.

My husband and I have driven past Aladdin Restaurant in West Reading for the last 20+ years and kept meaning to try it. We finally did today and we’re so delighted that we did! Turns out it’s under new management since 2022, with brother Sam at front of house and brother George creating amazing food in the kitchen. From Sam’s initial welcome to us when we walked in to the last bites of our deeply tasty and satisfying meals, it was a five star experience! We’ve had hummous and baba ghanoush so many times in so many places in the US and abroad, but this truly was the finest baba ghanoush either of us had ever tasted, and the hummous was a treat as well. My falafel was filled with flavor and perfectly balanced spices, and the fattoush on the side was really well spiced with great textures. I tried the rose refresher drink — rose syrup with soda water that Sam credits his mother with creating— and found it sweet, yes, but again, so deeply flavorful. We will be returning to Aladdin with out of town friends the day after Thankgiving. We’re so glad we finally went in to Aladdin instead of driving by!Vegetarian options: Full range of vegetarian options; I am mostly vegan and had plenty to choose from as well.
