I've stopped by in the summer and eaten outside at the beach bar and enjoyed my meal. The menu was just your average pub grub, but the prices are reasonable and when the weather's nice, it's a fun place to have a beer and some finger food. Maybe there's even some music.! Stopped by again this fall and wanted to give the tavern a shot for indoor dining. Nice decor there, but I was really disappointed that the indoor menu was the same, pub grub fare. Also found the indoor service really spotty. I' think we'll hold this place for and occasional summer basket of shrimp or burger visit.

Every time when its hot out and you want to eat inside the A/C is always broke. The owner is such a cheap person. All his employees were sweating so bad its like they were at boot camp. The service sucks and the tap beer taste like s*** cause he doesnt clean his beer lines. This place should close its doors cause the owner drinks all his profits away.

I have always loved it here but my most recent visit makes me not want to go back. Recently my family including children went for dinner. It was NOT busy at all. Our drinks took 17 minutes to arrive (we checked the time.) Our server took extremely long to take our order. When she finally did our food took extremely long to arrive. Once our food came our server was walking around everywhere but to our table....we needed drinks, items for our food, etc. We watched her walk around everywhere but to our table, to the point we went inside and ordered with someone else. Our entire dining experience took 3 hours.... 3 rounds of drinks and dinner (no apps or dessert) on a not busy evening should not take 3 hours. Very disappointed in the service and overall experience.

Went here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon not busy at all..ordered drinks my beer was in a can no glass offered to me for it and then we ordered food. I had the Tuscan chicken wrap it was ok but my friend got a "chicken cheese steak"...I've never seen something look so terrible!! It was a roll a few pieces of cut up grilled chicken a few onions and green peppers most were just on one side no cheese to be seen or sauce?!?! Asked bartender he said that's how they make it and then he walked away....really!! I'm in the restaurant industry and would never think to treat a guest like that! Def won't be back anytime soon!

Do not recommend at all - 0 stars! . Arrived at 7. 10 mins for a table. Told 20 minutes for a menu and an hour for food. We were talking amongst the group. Time slipped away. At 8:30 we finally asked for menus and got them, ordered a few minutes later. 8:45 told the kitchen recently closed a few minutes ago. No explanation. They comped drinks. We would have maybe stayed for more drinks but they wouldn't let us order in. Others in the parking lot had pizza delivered and ate out there.I know times are tough but this is insane! If you can't handle volume, then turn people away.You lose more by the "talk" and "stories" generated. Looks like a nice place to hang out, but NEVER AGAIN!

We were at the restaurant last night....which is really what they call the tavern...even though the bar on the outside reads TAVERN....now I know...any way....it was a very enjoyable experience....nice and warm inside since it was a chilly spring day/night outside.....I had the ahi tuna tacos and hubby had cheesesteak and fries. Wow...no skimping on the tuna! 2 big delicious pieces on each flour tortilla with an amazing sauce...everything in it had an amazing taste! The best I've had around for sure....they were out of steak so hubby got the sandwich and he gobbled it up...it was also delicious! A bit dark inside but it seemed very clean and the staff was very friendly....not sure what was going on at the bar....Johns dance band...the door was closed and I am guessing no room for us due to reservations...we plan on going there next weekend at the other side...my cousins band will be playing...we love coming here for outside seating! Can't wait for nicer weather...as always.....please support local restaurants....

I called two times to order food. Both times I was put on hold for over five minutes. So if your looking to grab some just ok bar food to take home to watch the games, call anywhere else. RUDE IS NOT OK!

Terrible experience, I will never return. If i could give it a zero i would. I've lived in Sinking Spring for years and have gone here plenty of times, but I've never experienced something like this. It was my husband, I and our baby going on a late Sunday afternoon. The weather was nice and sunny so we wanted to sit outside in the shade, but closer to the bar so my husband could see the football game. Obviously, having a baby with us we definitely don't want to sit in the sun. The hostess takes us over to a section of tables to seat us, none of them were shaded or near the bar. There was a table in full shade, right next to the bar, unoccupied so we asked to sit there. The hostess said we couldn't sit there because she had to seat us in the proper section because of the waitresses rotation. She didn't offer any alternatives. We had to take a table in the sun, in the appropriate section, or we couldn't be seated to eat there. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 5 years and customer service for over 20 years, this is completely unacceptable! You need to be flexible. This was absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, we walked out. I wasn't going to sit in the sun with my baby and eat their mediocre at best bar food. We actually went to a nearby brewery, Schaylor, and had delicious meal with their wonderful locally brewed beer. Much better service than Beverly Hills!

This ones going to be short but to the point. Coming here with my friend to just chill and grab some drinks was what was totally good if we could have been served the second time. Our first experience with the bartender was positive the second she was horrible she told me that she couldn't make the drink my friend had asked for when she had just gotten it from someone before this just felt like she had an attitude for some reason so I was like ok and we just got other things. The patio was chill I liked how big it was but the service could have been better along with the prices as it was kinda high for a place like this. Overall one good bartender one horrible one either way I had a good time not so much so that I'd come back but then again who knows.

Our group of over 20 people were treated very well by servers Annie and Jordan Saturday night. We were lucky enough to get the "Party Boat" last-minute. We love the atmosphere at BHT, having Annie and Jordan as our servers...icing on the cake! Super kind, friendly, courteous, professional and very attentive to our group despite how busy they were. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Such a terrible restaurant overall in between the manager, waitress and food. I went to this establishment for my first time yesterday with my family and we went to celebrate a family members birthday. When we got there we were told there will be a menu wait for 25 minutes but we can sit down and have drinks while we are waiting so we said ok we sat down and waited about 5 mins before our waitress came over for our drink order. After our drinks came out our waitress asked if we were ready to order we didn't have any menu's to look at so we asked for menu's. We placed in a couple small appetizer when she came back over so we could get some food. She took our order came back a few times to see if we needed any drinks. We waited about 40 mins after ordering food before asking anything about our food she came back over and asked if we needed anything I said we are good on drinks but we have been waiting for our appetizers a while now will they be out soon ?. She gave attitude right away saying your food is not ready it will be out when it's done. Then she came back over 3 times saying your food is on its way out with a really bad attitude towards me and my family. While we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our appetizers the table behind us came in after us and I mean very far after us id say about 30 mins after us and they got there food before we did. Our appetizers weren't complex at all it was fried Pickels, a Dutch platter which was a waste of money 6 slices of ring bologna and 4 cubes of Swiss cheese when the menu said cooper sharp cheese and we had the nachos which I don't see this taking this long to cook in a restaurant. We placed our food order during the wait time too. Once we got our appetizers our food came out about 35 minutes later and nothing was made right at all we had crab legs that were suppose to be hot and steamed and they came out cold like they were in a refrigerator and still rock hard. we had shrimp that were missing old bay when it was ordered on it we asked for some it wasn't even sticking to the shrimp, we had a burger that was like a hockey puck with how dry and over cooked it was and we had ordered a cuban press which was just down right dry and no flavor. I asked for a manager and the manager on duty last night was just as terrible as the waitress with the attitude I pointed out the problems we have been having all night with the service and the manager gave a nasty a** look and attitude and didn't do anything at all she took one item off the bill and that was it. I would advise everyone to stay away unless your ok with terrible service and shitty attitude waitresses and managers

I just started coming here. First two times were fine. Yesterday my waitress was so rude that we ended up leaving early. She was completely unprofessional & not friendly. I've never experienced that type of service before. Very shocked.

Although the service was really great (as far as the wait staff and the hospitality of the manager), I had a pretty bad experience when it came to the food. My theory is that during the time they were shut down for quarantine, they just stuck everything in the freezer and served it to us straight when they opened. My friend ordered the crab fries and the crab was grey, cold, and very unedible looking. Well then I ordered cheese and bologna....the bologna came out with white fuzzy mold all over it. I'm not sure how someone in the kitchen cut that bologna up not noticing, I mean it was all over. Then, when our food came out, I had a salad with guacamole on it and the guacamole was frozen solid. My friend had a lobster roll, which she did say was really good, but the lettuce was visibly dirty so she had to pick it off. We aren't typically the type of people to complain, but we felt as if they really needed to make some improvements with their kitchen staff. I still think it's a good place to go for some drinks (although they could have cheaper drink specials), but maybe skip the food or go for a VERY light appetizer.

Worst dining experience. Our food took over an hour and when it came it was horrible. Paid $18 for two dozen clams and half were closed. My husband had rotten lettuce on his burger and my daughters Mac and cheese had no taste. We also sat next to chain smokers while trying to patiently wait for our despicable meal.
