Ikyfl!!!!Anyone who ordered and gave this place anything over 1 star is lying through their teeth or got the worst taste in food ever.I ordered shrimp and gritsAnd fried whiting fish.$20!!! 20 eff dollars for Quaker oats quick grits5 cocktail shrimp fried ( why are you frying cocktail shrimp and even more for grits.) This tasted the most bland. The fish had no color. The menu said used lemon pepper seasoning. It was cooked in flour...just flour. Not a speck of seasoning.Oh and tarter sauce on the side of fish...cocktail sauce for the shrimp and grits i had to use the cocktail sauce to give the food some flavorNo effort whatsoever.I wanted to take it back. The entire meal experience was ruined and now i got old fish grease and old whiting taste in my mouth. So bad i want to cry. What is so disappointing is this is a black owned company and a classic like shrimp and grits look and taste like bondage. This ain't it...do something else. This food was terrible. Smh

Stayed at the double tree (like 2 blocks away). Waited 1 hr 15 minutes for our order, finally called and was informed "it's just going out now". We ordered extra ketchup, Mayo, and ranch. What we got was 2 tiny side cups of ranch. 2 we ordered were awful! Dry and No flavor, the condiments we ordered would have made it better to eat.

I received my order through door dash which always good. But the this restaurant is horrible. First they did not give me my drink that I ordered, then 2 hot dogs would mean 2 separate hotdogs in buns. Right? No here they sent my 2 dogs in one Kaiser roll. Third my fries were undercooked and lastly their phone number has been disconnected so you can't even call and complain about their mistakes. Never ordering from here again.

Tried both burger with fries and their Spanish rice w/4 whole chicken wings meal and everything was great. Generous portions, really good food. Highly recommend. Let’s support our local businesses!

Was craving breakfast food and got an omelet with a side of sausage and hash browns. Sausage and hash browns were burnt to a crisp and tasted like old nasty grease. Added the ham steak to the omelet and it was tough as nails. On a positive note, the meatball sub is one of the best I've had in a very long time. But the breakfast items just left a horrible taste in my mouth.

When you get a complimentary cocoa cola with BREAKFAST... look in the bag.Well, I am hard pressed to speak unfavorably towards a business especially during these difficult times... however. I ordered eggs and turkey bacon @ 9:am or so. I said, I ordered eggs and turkey bacon ... what I received I just can’t get my head around, #1; being how could this order be “so confused “ or mixed up and #2; really, someone ordered TWO LARGE STEAKS w/fries , TWO HOTDOGS and a side of Mac n cheese at 9 am in the morning!!!!To their credit I was refunded my money for this mishap... but really, this wasn’t like the difference between say scrambled eggs and an omelette mix up...sorry, I won’t risk ordering from here again, as I tried to call to report the order being wrong I was told the number was no longer in service... smh

Surprisingly horrible breakfast experience. First off, I had to double check my spelling for this place like three times. I kept reading it as "Double Eggs," not realizing that upon closer inspection, there is just one "e" separating the words, and in fact, it's one word. Though someone not so familiar with the English language might pronounce it as "Doub Leggs." Regardless, with "eggs" in the name and a plethora of breakfast related items on the menu, you'd think breakfast would be their strong suit. You'd be wrong. And here's the thing - they have good intentions. Their recipes and ingredients are probably top notch. But dear lord, can we clean our stove tops? Can we empty our grease traps from time to time? How about the fryer grease? When was the last time that was changed? My side order of sausage was coated in a thick layer of old, disgusting grease. The hash browns were fried beyond recognition, and they tasted like burnt a*** The omelet was actually ok. But they added this ham steak that was cooked on the same surface as all the other burnt components. So the ham tasted like burnt a** as well. They were legit the worst sausage links I've ever had. And I've eaten at some shady diners before. Like, the West Reading diner at the height of their rodent infestation. But they could still knock out a good dish. The one saving grace at Doubleggs is the meatball sandwich. If you can manage to eat around the bone fragments, the flavor is on par with any of the top Italian restaurants in town.
