Service here is hit-or miss. Good food, but sometimes the servers don’t care about the customers. I have been there many times, and very seldom do I get a server that cares and gives good service, not just bring you the menu and sodas.

The service was great! Our appetizer was great, but our main course was horrible. The food wasn’t seasoned at all. The chicken was paper thin. Our napkin was thicker than the chicken! And 70 dollars for 2 courses and 1 appetizer is ridiculous.

I went on Sunday, the food was really good. But the waitress service leaves a lot to be desired. It is understood that they have to serve several tables. That's what I thought but they are all piled up at the entrance. And if you want something else, you have to wait for something to happen, and they go reluctantly. Just because the tips are mandatory, if it were up to me, I wouldn't have left anything.

This Wednesday, February 7, 2024, I went to dinner with my children, I asked the waitress for a margarita and asked her to add extra alcohol, she arrived with the glass well filled and a separate shot of tequila, I told her that I wanted it in the drink, not separately She replied that she does it that way because the customers later say that they didn't pour it out. The girl took the tequila and poured it over the glass, spilling everything on the table and she wasn't worthy of coming back to wipe the table, so I stopped. and I retired, they must have responsible people with a vocation for service, check their cameras and you will see their attitude, I am a Google tour guide and I post the good and the bad, she was very rude, if it does not sell to serve it is not good to sell .

It was clean and the server was friendly. However I was not impressed with my food. The rice looked and tasted like it was the day before rice. I was disappointed because I go To the wyomissing location and that's never happened. Other than that it was good.Parking: The parking was free and there was plenty of parking.

This is the 3rd Mexican/Spanish Food Restaurant I have tried. The menu made the food I ordered "sound" delicious but when it showed up:. NO color as everything was colorless:. Rice was undercooked with a couple if peas, carrots, beans tossed in / 3 enchiladas choices were swimming in a salty cheese sauce and stuffings were just tasteless / fried ice cream wound up going home with me (I live close) so I had dessert for 3 days / NO salted rim on my Margarita (although this place DOES actually have Tequila in them) /\ the Atmosphere, plush booths, skeleton at the bar for Halloween season, and Wait Service were the best part of my visit ~ oh yeah the standard chips for dipping were also tasteless but dips were good to add to my food to give it flavor.**ALL IN ALL: the 3 places here in the Exeter area of Reading were DISAPPOINTING.! ... YEARS AGO, a friend and I had the PLEASURE of eating in a Spanish/Mexican place in Fort Washington, Pa that had been recommended as ""authentic food"" and the entire meal we enjoyed HAD COLORS AND FLAVORS ~ and the servers there were in colorful skirts and the men with fancy vests making the visit extremely pleasurable ~ especially when the grandmotherly older lady from the kitchen staff came out to visit the tables offering a taste of a new dipping sauce she was preparing.**>> Back to Thai, Italian, Asian, and cuisine from India for me ~ no more expensive BUT TOTALLY TASTELESS Spanish Restaurants for us <<Vegetarian options: The OVERLY applied cheese sauce was definitely NOT a Vegan option and made all 3 different enchiladas taste exactly the same / rice was CHEWY and FLAVORLESS.Parking: Handicap Parking was close to entrance.

Today our server was YSARA, OMG the whole package, pleasant and knows her menu. Very attentive to us, making sure our drinks were replenished. Checking on our food. A very positive experience today. We don’t live in this area, moved away 8 months ago, but decided to stop by and wanted to give this Plaza Azteca a chance to redeem itself from a not so positive experience in July. Possibly that visit was an off day for them because today was what we are used to here at Mt Penn’s Plaza Azteca. YSARA was our server once before and she definitely needs to be recognized as an asset to your restaurant. Kudos to YSARA ?❤️
