“I know all 5-star reviews are suspect, but my visit to DoGoods Tavern deserves the rating. My friends and I picked DoGoods based on their menu, which had several items I could eat on my restricted diet (no carbs). It was a Saturday evening and we did have reservations.We walked into the restaurant and instantly loved the decor. The place felt like a clean, friendly, Old World Pub. We were promptly seated and had quick service. Our waitress said she was in training, but still did an excellent job of waiting on us.The food was DELICIOUS. I chose the special of the day, Thai BBQ chicken and shrimp, and loved every bite. My friends ordered regular menu items including the spicy chicken wings, the haddock, and fish fry. Not a single complaint at the table. We all loved our food.Everything in the restaurant was clean. I made a stop in the restroom and found it well stocked and scrubbed. Even the corners of the floors and stalls were clean.It's unusual these days to visit a restaurant and have everything go just right, but that was our experience last week. I'll definitely be back to eat at DoGoods Tavern. I also recommend it for their quality of food, and the fact they had meals with only protein and vegetables, a rarity in this part of the country. Definitely a great experience.“

“This is an unexpected delight. I had an appointment nearby with a little over an hour to kill at dinner time. The service on a Friday night was excellent and friendly. I ordered a burger to go and what a nice experience to discover a well cooked delicious burger with a nice presentation despite being take out. I have low blood sugar and low iron and was positively dizzy by the time I got home and opened the container and found that it was well worth the wait! Highly recommend.“

“Giving a great shout out to The The Station at Reinholds Inn. We went there for dinner this evening and had dinner in the upstairs dining room. Our food was delicious and our server was very pleasant. We shared the Crab Quesadillas, they were quite yummy. My Jamaican Jerk wings were fried to perfection, the toasted and glazed brussel sprouts were very tasty. My son said that his salmon dinner was great and so was my husband's fish and homemade chips. If you are looking for somewhere other than pizza on a winter weekend evening, please check them out.“

“We went to the porch in May for our anniversary and than in June for my birthday and tonight for my husbands birthday. Ruthann does a very nice job making you feel comfortable and welcome. The chef does an excellent job and we loved the meals we had so far. When my husband called for reservations and left a message the gentleman called us back quickly. “If you think you are better then hard working, kind people, and are easily offended, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy amazing food, generously poured drinks, banter, and don't mind whatever someone picked on the jukebox for your listening enjoyment, you are missing out if you do not eat here. We live in a small waterfront town about 3 hours from here and we felt right at home. So much so, we ate here 3 days in a row. The staff here is absolutely amazing. The food was better then some of the fancy places in DC I've been. First night was a Thursday and it was steak night. For $19 we had perfectly cooked and seasoned NY strips, potato, veggie and salad. Night two, I had the fish special of Artic char with a dill creama, rice, veggie and salad for the price of what I usually pay for a burger at home. Night 3 we split a cheesesteak and potato skins and good lord...we weren't in Philly but it sure did taste like it. The women running this place are hard working, salt of the earth but will not put up with a bad attitude (as they should! Don't be a j***** We frequent this area and are so thankful we discovered this gem. It will be the only place for us from here on out.“

“Excellent waitress. Delicious food. We had the mussels and the roasted Brussels sprouts bsthed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Also, the tasty HPR bowl made with breaded chicken chunks, based potatoes and corn drizzled with a brown sauce. Wonderful time!“

“First time at this little place and loved it. The staff is very friendly. Went for their Halloween party. This place is very laid back. Looks smaller from the outside but the layout inside allows for plenty of room for everyone. They moved the pool table for the live bands, but when they put it back I watched them confirm it was very level. Great place to play pool, dance and enjoy a great band. The location is little hidden, but worth the trip. Great destination for a motorcycle ride and plenty of parking.“

“Wednesday wing night. Best wings ever. Cooked perfectly crispy but still juicy inside. Hot garlic actually has chopped garlic on the wings. (Not the minced stuff from a jar) Keep up the perfect wings and awesome service! Also, one of the best mushroom & Swiss burgers I've ever had. Battered fries are spectacular.“

“We arrived to a very busy evening, and the bartender was also waiting tables as well. She was super busy, but still was excellent at making sure we were set with what we needed. The cream soda was an excellent start to then be followed by some of the best tater kegs we have had. We ordered smoked wings, and we were able to pick different sauces to go with them. Most excellent wings that were very meaty as well. One of the smallest wings we had was larger than one of the larger wings that I had ordered at a chicken wing joint. Excellent food, excellent service, at a good price. What more could you ask for?“
