Wife & I were spending Thanksgiving alone so we tried out the Salt Mine's Thanksgiving takeout specials - she got the turkey and I got the prime rib. Both were outstanding! Delicious, large portions, reasonable price and courteous, professional service when we picked it up. Coupled with some great wine, our Thanksgiving dinner turned out memorable. It is so great to finally have a quality local dining establishment. Thank you Salt Mine Public House. We will definitely be back!
One very specific thing I will say, I never order chicken at restaurants because it’s usually flavorless and dry but I took a chance on the Salt Mine chicken and it is PHENOMENAL. I ate every single bite and ordered it on two separate occasions. The orzo that comes with it is to die for, it comes with carrots which normally I’m not a fan of but I can’t help but finish my entire plate. Service was top notch! Super friendly and attentive staff. The bar has a warm atmosphere and I love the heavy stoneware dishes. My husband liked his alfredo with chicken and my coconut merengue pie was really good.
