Food poising Saturday before Easter.I'm sorry but I need to give others a heads up. Before Eating Here Each and Every Time.. Ask was made it fresh and when!!! Ordered 6 Beef Tongue lengua Tacos and Napolas (Cactus) the cactus was in a slab, limb, pale and the onions tangy and bitter. Taco meat some cubed cold and mostly mushy. We spent 2 days in bed and bathroom perjectile vomiting

A lovely first impression upon entering. After our party of six had traversed the online menu, we were all looking forward to not only eating great Mexican food, but partaking in trying some delicious alcoholic drinks, as they were all listed on the online menu. Note: we had a friend that had previously visited about a month ago and found that they were having trouble with the LCB, but assured him that they would have their license within two weeks. Needless to say, we were informed of their inability to serve alcohol upon arrival. Wouldn't it make sense to note that online ?? We ordered appetizers and then our entree's. Both came out at the same time. The food wasn't awful, wasn't great. Rather bland to be honest. Our server was friendly and pleasant. Don't really find a need to return to be honest.

I really wanted to like this place because I hated Cutillo's, which was in the same building. The food was not bad, but not great. I had steak fajitas, but you can get a better version at Chili's for less money. It didn't come with any cheese (which I've never heard of), so I asked for some. The waitress brought me a little plastic cup of it and they charged me $2.50. This was after I said I didn't need the beans, the sour cream, nor the pico. Unfortunate. I guess it just meant to be for this location and me.

We had such a great visit at El Tequila! Pictured are the grilled chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, chips and guacamole and chorizo tacos. We had a great visit and received great service from Danny! I recommend this location for group dinners, family/ friends dinner, or even a private party/ venue. They have a restaurant space, and 2 large event spaces perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, or even a wedding reception! I will definitely visit again.

The place has a very nice atmosphere, service was excellent. We especially felt taken care of by Nellie the bartender. The place is new, so there are a few wrinkles they need to iron out, but the food was Amazing. Once they get their liquor license, this will be The Hot Spot in Pottstown.

First time here, and it was great. They’re still BYOB, but will make margaritas and whatever else you want if you bring in the alcohol. Service was great, speedy, and what is expected for food. The food… amazing!! Start you off with chips and great salsa and our dinner came out so tender and delicious. I can’t wait to see what they become as the bar opens. We sat at the bar tonight and the woman serving us was so great… the decor is absolutely perfect !! My husband and I love it!! Great job! Fresh and delicious food and beautiful place

Restaurants, like any new business, undergo a steep learning curve. I beg of you, remember this when you try a spot that’s just opened. The complex symphony of a restaurant's operation—kitchen efficiency, front-of-house coordination, and customer service—requires time to harmonize. Every restaurant is a unique ecosystem with its rhythms and dynamics. Initial slow service or mistakes are often not a reflection of a lack of effort or care but rather the natural process of finding the right balance and rhythm. Why did I start my review this way?Tacos. These were some of the best tacos I’ve had in town!I live around the corner. A gift like this is like manna from heaven. If you philistines ruin this for me by giving this place poor reviews because you’re impatient bratty toddlers I’ll pray plagues and pestilence upon you, your children and seven generations to follow.

Let me start by saying the the food was excellent and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Chimichanga De La Casa and my husband ordered the Chimichanga. They gave us both the De La Casa. They offered to fix it, but we didn't want to wait, so he ate it. I was charged for 2 sodas, but we had 1 soda and a water. The server did fix that on the bill. Service was very slow. We took into account that it was a new establishment and we were okay with that. I feel like the price of the meal should have been adjusted too since the server wrote it down wrong. The prices are very reasonable. We will eventually come back once you are better established. Also, the music was great, but too loud. I felt like I had to yell when talking to my husband.

Ambiance 3.5; Food 3.5; Service 1. We arrived for dinner on a Sat evening a little after 6pm. The host told us it would be a 25 minute wait, which I thought was odd given the upstairs was empty and there were several empty tables downstairs. We said OK, and then were immediately seated, which really confused me. Complimentary chips and salsa came out within a few minutes of being seated, but it pretty much went all downhill after that. It was about 20 minutes before our waitress came to greet us. This means we had nothing to drink, including water, this entire time. We ate our chips & salsa with nothing to drink. We ordered our drinks and meal all at the same time. My son wanted the cheese pizza (this place is a mix of Mexican and Italian which is unusual), but we were told they weren't taking any more orders for pizza as the kitchen was backed up. Bummer. She takes our order and then another 10 minutes easily go by with still no water or any of the drinks we ordered, which was only a lemonade and a Strawberry Daiquiri. I finally had to ask someone else to get us some water, but it was awhile before I received my daiquiri. While it looked nice, it was more ice than anything and I couldn't use the straw to drink it and wound up using my fork! I should have sent it back, but no one ever came around. Needless to say, our water glasses remained emptied at times as well. Food finally came out about an hour and 20 minutes after we were seated. The food was pretty good, but not good enough to deal with the long wait and poor service. Our waitress never came and checked on us after our meal came (she actually never came over again for the remainder of the time we were there), but fortunately, someone else came over twice and at least gave us refills. The place wasn't that busy to warrant this kind of delays and service issues. They had several workers standing around at the hostess stand, who could have been going around minimally filling water glasses. This is a pretty big place, so can't imagine what the wait times would have been had it been filled. The food was pretty good, so I really hope they can work out the service and kitchen issues, as this could be a decent place in the area.

Very nice atmosphere but the service was slow. I Asked how the cevicha was served an was told it came in a glass when it came out it was on a plate with no cucumber or cilantro an very bland the carna aside was not marinated at all the way I had it in Mexico. There was barely enough sour cream or any condiments to make more than one burrito with the carna asada. I hope they improve on there menu to make true Mexican food cause I can make better at home.Parking: Lots of parking

Decided to check out place, sat for 45 minutes without anyone coming to my table. Shady guy at the bar area with drug cartel tattoos kep looking at me. Definitely a place to laundry money for illegal activities. I know a little spanish and he was making deals on the phone.

I had the fish. Very flavorful. Street corn was on point. Service was very attentive. I appreciate an attentive server.

I do not think the chef knows the difference between a burrito and enchiladas. The only difference was the sauce on the top. There were 2 very small flour tortillas with beef inside, Nothing else. The taco had hardly any beef at all and a little cheese. I was not impressed. When I asked the server, he said that is the way the owner wants them made. I never got an answer as to what the differences are.I hope the chef and owner get themselves together and figure out what these items should be. It was a very large menu, but maybe they should let you know what comes on the plate. The restaurant and the party room looked beautiful Lets hope they get their menu straightened out
