“This place is not for everyone. Smoking is allowed and a basement bar. But the outside is nice and we met the owner. Great guy and it's clear everyone knows everyone. We were cleay out of place, but they treated us like we were regulars. Very friendly place.“

“Have driven by this place for years. My husband and I stopped on a whim. Boy I'm glad we did great ample parking. Easy in and out. Tons of games, lottery machines and pool tables. Any lady would enjoy coming here. Very clean, great seats at the bar. Bathroom was super clean. And the young bar tender knew his stuff. Offered sample tasting of a new IPA they are carrying. He also knew the menu inside and out. My husband and I were undecided about a starter. He recommended the shrimp jammers. A fried shrimp with a mild spicy glaze. He said he doesn't like spicy and promised these were not that spicy. He also suggested we get a side of ranch. He was right they were awesome. Best claw slaw ever and I had a Calf cheese steak very good. I highly recommend the place. Only changes I would suggest is hooks on the front of the bar to hang your purse and maybe add a non fried chicken sandwich or a steak for those who can't eat fried. But place is a hidden gem. Check em out. Friendly bunch of customers at the bar. They do have dinning room and outside seating for warm nights. Great food and service.“

“My family has been a multi-year patron of Andrew Moore's Stone Bar Inn. Most of our dining visits. whether a table for two, or my entire family together at one time, have been top-notch first-class dining. We've enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining experience. We've enjoyed trying out each room for dining. We even did the old "kitchen experience table" many years ago as a birthday gift from my family. We, DW and I decided to celebrate our 43'rd wedding anniversary this past Thursday evening. Everything was once again "top notch" as we had hoped. Adn we even helped Bruce at the bar enjoy his 88th birthday! Table snacks and rolls? Perfect! Drinks? Very very nice. Apps and dinner were just as hoped for. Cooked perfectly and served hot and right on time. The music man started laying at 6 and was a ton of fun and I complimented him for his playing and singing "in tune"! Just to repeat; this was The Stone Bar Inn at it best and our servers and dinners and atmosphere choice (sitting in the bar area) made for a perfect 43rd anniversary celebration. Our 45-minute drive was not too far to go for the evenings experience, and we will do it again soon!“

Made friends with both of the bartenders. Met the owner and he was super nice, had a great conversation with him and his staff. So happy they have an IPA on tap.
