Food for me was pretty good. Got the Steak and Cheese STROMBOLI, square pizza with onion,mushrooms, sweet pepper, sausage, Was delicious. Soup and two hot ham and cheese wrap with chips. I have to say they are the best I have eaten lots of Stromboli, pizza and I must say it is great. Crust on everything was nice and butter and crunchy but soft. I recommend this place to anyone.
The double crust white was good...not great. The red pizza was terrible. They use par-baked shells instead of fresh dough. The sauce and cheese just lay on top. Colarusso's has great sauce but you would never know it. It's like the sauce is "painted" on the shell. Could be ketchup...
Pizza tasted great like always, the owner was there unloading the truck, roads were horrible and they weren't supposed to open for several more hours but the owner graciously agreed the day before when we called that he would come in early just to make the pizza for my mom that lives out of the area and I was going to see. I greatly appreciate him going out of his way for us.
