Super cute stop in the heart of downtown of Scranton, Pennsylvania. I wanted to find a great cup and there was a really good vibe there. I got a maple latte which was on the sweet side, but totally delicious. If you have a moment and want a nice cup of coffee or relax environment it’s a nice stop.

Coffee/lattes were delicious. Hot food is microwaved. Bathrooms, we were told not for the public. Almost certain that is illegal, in a food establishment, in the state of Pennsylvania. Was not impressed after sitting and sipping on a full cup of coffee.

I love this place but one guy in particular that works here is so mean and condescending. He was even being rude to his co worker for using the wrong cup. Makes you nervous to even order your food and drink because he is not helpful or nice at all. :(

This place is AWESOME. I'm not from the Scranton area, but my sister lives there and we wanted to have a baby shower for her. We ended up finding Northern Light and I'm so glad we did. Absolutely awesome place! Jenn was wonderful and welcoming and made everything easy. The food was do delicious (best macaroni salad ever) and the drinks were perfectly refreshing. We definitely will be stopping by every time we visit the area now.Awesome Coffee. Delicious Food. Warm & Relaxing Vibes.

I didn't get any food here, just an americano.Coffee was OK. I was looking for a strong, bold, dark blend, and although my coffee was acceptable, it wasn't quite dark, bold and thick as I am used to.Atmosphere, however was awesome! Nice comfortable place with a great vibe. I had an extended business meeting here, and it was the perfect place for that.Located in the Scranton Life building.

Was on my way to New York and decided to make a quick stop at Northern Lights. This cafe has an immaculate atmosphere and tons of seating on the ground floor and upstairs. Throughly enjoyed my coffee and the cute office related posters.
I was here a couple of hours this morning catching up on work, sitting within earshot of counter. I had an excellent Americano. But I’ll let others review the products. What I observed was a Master’s class in customer service from whom I assume is the owner; if not, he should be (thin guy, 40s, slicked back dark hair). No fake-friendly greetings, actually no smiles really. Instead, a pleasant kind of conversational back-and-forth with a clear focus on making sure he understood what the customer wanted while explaining options and consequences of the decisions. No wonder the line was to the door for most of the time I was there.

Ordered a chai latte iced for my partner and hot for myself. They said their drink wasn't sweet, and mine was too sweet for my liking but had great flavor. The food was okay. I enjoyed the Nutella bread. My sandwich was a tad stale but tasted fine otherwise.

I just love Northen light. Best place to have a great latte and enjoy the atmosphere. I especially love the loft. It makes you escape reality and your in your own little world. Great for every occasion.
