They used old smelly vegetables in the noodles. Same for the Kathi roll. Vasa paw was super oily. I felt sick aftwr eating there.

Finally, a decent Indian restaurant in Scranton. The naan, biryani were excellent. Great balance of herbs, spices and flavors. The “house special fries” isn’t worth it. Overall, it wasn’t greasy, perfectly seasoned and very nice sized servings.Reasonably priced; for the portions they serve, I can eat for days.

Vegetarian options: Naan is really hard not able to chew, probably they brought it from outside, never saw such hard naan.fully disappointed 6$ for 1 naan and I have purchased 2 it was completely wasted because I didn’t able to chew , so hard, they need to verify whats wrong with naan.

Finally an indian place who's food I can vouch for.Being and Indian and a pretty good cook I don't like most Indian (Americanized) restaurant food. Bawarchi changes that. I taste the authentic flavor and spices and the food is so fresh. Prices are very reasonable.I recommend this place more than any other Indian restaurant that I've eaten at in north east PA

I ordered a goat biriyani on Feb 19, 2024 for dinner and it tasted horrible. No flavor and it was too oily. I think the chef just thought " let me just add some masala to cooked with meat n rice" and call it a biriyani and charge $18 for it. I can cook make better biriyani even on my worst days. What a disappointment this place was.

Very delicious food. Great Mango Lassi, biryani and curries!
Dropped a hundred bucks at Scranton Bawarchi, and man, it was totally worth it! The food was insanely good – flavors on point, spices just right. The whole vibe and the attentive staff made it feel like money well spent. Can't wait for a repeat!
PLEASE DONT WASTE MONEY!!!! They literally mixing RED chilli powder with rice and calling it as “BIRYANI”.Very poor hygiene standards .

Best indian food I've had since moving here from NY, which is the melting pot of culinary delight. Brittney, Tara, and all of the lying POS that give this anything less then 4 stars need to learn what good food is. Enjoy eating your boiled chicken and white rice in hell.
