Visited on Fri I believe. The service here is better than most. Bring your hunger - portions are generous.

Tried this out for lunch today and was satisfied. I really enjoyed the fried sesame balls and general tso's chicken wasn't too sweet, which is good. None of the hot buffet food was cold and the staff was friendly. Lunch special is 6.99 for adults.

Stopped in for dinner. By far the worst buffet I've ever been too. The food was cold and burnt. Waitress brought our check after only being there for 15 minutes and she was rude as hell. Not worth $41 for 3 people

As previous reviewer indicated, this establishment occupies the Southside Shopping Center space that had previously been an Asian buffet. They have hibachi and sushi as well as a typical selection of dishes. I am a vegetarian, so did not try a whole lot of what was presented. The lo mein, mushrooms, and tofu/seaweed sushi selections were very good. My son really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and the sushi. A good selection of fruits and ice cream rounded out the meal. We were there on a Friday night, and it was fairly busy - a good sign for any buffet, ensuring regular refreshing of everything. Staff were friendly and efficient. Thai Rak Thai remains my favorite Asian restaurant of all time - so that's the place for quality in Scranton. But if you're looking for a smorgasbord of comfort food, you could do far worse than Teikoku168. If you're a germaphobe or freshness fanatic who eschews buffet style dining, they do offer a takeout menu with typical Chinese fare and sushi. I notice that it's missing a cold sesame noodle appetizer, which is one of my favorites. There is also an option to fill up a container at the buffet and pay by the pound. I think people who enjoy the typical value-oriented Asian buffet experience will like this place, and those who do not, will not.

This business is in the same building as the old Oriental Buffet. I saw that they were opening a new buffet and i was so excited all the ones around scranton are either too expensive or too far away. This is down the street from my house, so i was excited. Well that didnt last long. I saw that the old people from the oriental buffet are working here again. The food selection was small. All the food was either too sweet or covered in sauce. Nothing tasted freshly made. The only thing that was abundant was the fruit and extra sauces. I made two plates of food and didnt finish NOT ONE. The cold shrimp is normally my go to when i eat at buffet but tge shrimp didnt look safe and the ones that didnt have black stuff on it tasted rubbery and disgusting. The same old place with horrible food.
