One of the best chicken salad sandwiches. Served on toasted raisin bread. ?

Great lunch spot. The restaurant I wanted to go to was closed, so I tried Vine, and I'm so glad I did. Their daily special was an inventive and delicious flatbread. Small and cozy. Very friendly staff.

Great, healthy spot for breakfast or lunch. We ate at a high top: two salads, one hot sandwich, and a wrap. The latter two came with potato chips. All decent portions and delicious. The iced teas were good. Wish we had had room for dessert--the cupcakes were enticing us from the display case! Separate-gender restrooms share a sink. Not wheelchair accessible.

This is a charming place for lunch in downtown Scranton. We wandered in on our way to the Steamtown Historic Site down the street. The place is small and the ladies working were very friendly. We had tomato soup and half a roast beef sandwich, and the sweet potato chickpea "burger". The tomato bisque was delicious with a balsamic drizzle and grilled cheese croutons (sorry, it was devoured before a pic could be taken). My sweet potato and chickpea sandwich was delicious. Hot, crunchy on the edge and soft in the middle. Served on a wheat bun with avocado, tomato, lettuce and mayo. It was a treat and especially a nice light lunch. I am not a vegetarian but I was intrigued by the description. The menu offered other interesting salads and sandwiches. There was a warm potato salad that I would love to go back and try! For dessert on our way out, we picked up an energy bar. Peanut butter, coconut, seeds, and honey - it was sweet and healthy. Very nice way to end a lovely lunch while sightseeing around Scranton!

The roasted chicken salad on raisin toast is delicious. I also really enjoyed the vegetable soup with beans and escarole. Everything is made fresh and you can tell from the quality of items.

Great food in a cozy atmosphere

I really wanted to like this place, as it is locally owned, but the service has repeatedly been less-than-enjoyable. I have been to this establishment more than a handful of times and each time I am ignored when I enter the building, despite giving a smile (pre-mask era). People seemingly rave about the nice staff and small business/family-run business mentality, but I am just not experiencing it. The food is fine, but not worth it to me any longer. I will be supporting other local businesses instead. Treating your customers nicely, greeting them with a smile, and expressing thanks for their business should be the bare minimum. Disappointing.

Best spot to grab a smoothie (like the blue velvet) and baked good on the go or to sit and enjoy lunch! The chef and bakers keep the menu fun and creative, always making festive goodies for the holidays (and my favorite, lots of Harry Potter themed baked goods). I live out of town now and make sure to stop in whenever I make the trip home. The family that runs Vine are super friendly and hard-working. During the pandemic, they’ve been doing a lot to support the community, by hand making masks and shirts encouraging people to shop locally. :)

Super nice people but my food missed the mark. It was suppose to contain quinoa which was totally missing. It tasted ok but I wasn’t impressed.

This has been a staple for us now that we have to order out at restaurants more often. Always prompt and friendly. The smoothies are all delicious but the blue velvet smoothie is one of the best smoothies I've had.The salads are all good and some of the best salads in Scranton. They have one of the largest varieties which is hard to find in Scranton some times. The apple salad is my go to.The sandwiches are a healthy option opposed to most Scranton sandwich joints. It's nice that they have vegetarian and vegan options. I'm so happy that Vine has stayed open throughout the pandemic and there's a reason that I go almost every week.
