Small place with a homey vibe. Perfect for takeout or a hangout with a friend. I would've got three tacos but they sell in fours minimum. I had no issue with this. The pork was moist and oily with that distinct sear outside. The meat was cubed perfectly and they were generous with the cilantro. The salsa is a must. The red sauce is spicier than the green supposedly. Elevated the flavor immensely. Certainly, will be one of my taco staples in Scranton.

Like another reviewer mentioned, I decided to try this place because it has high reviews -4.8 stars at the time of writing. The portions were generous and the service was fine. My son liked his chicken quesadilla and we all liked the rice and beans. The green sauce on the enchiladas was too spicy for me and my husband and the place itself is very run down. Definitely a hole in the wall... But with regular prices. I could probably recommend it for take out- just don't get anything with sauce if you don't like spicy food.

Great food, check it out! This is a small corner spot with counter seating only and street parking. We ordered pastor and carnitas tacos, comes as 4 or 6 count. We got 4 each and it was a lot. Stuffed nicely so the droppings land for another half taco. We got quesadillas also, which were smaller than we expected but stuffed! Very filling, all of it. Solid meal. Next time we're in Scranton we'll get breakfast here too. Maybe even smoothies. No horchata on the menu but they have bottled drinks.

It'd be best if you have someone to share.The chilaquiles ARE spicy so beware. But man, they are good! The chicken and meat are absolutely perfect. Other places give you old meat where you can taste it has been sitting for a while. Not Yankee Taqueria. The eggs were fried to perfection.The muffin and bagel were toasted so beautifully. I'll try their technique when I get home.The Cecina in the platter was very juicy and tender. Rice was very fluffy.The burrito, I could barely finish half. IT IS STUFFED!! But as it is fat, it's delightful. Again, their meat tastes very good and fresh. I wish I had known of this place before. I'd definitely visit this place evert time I come to Scranton!The service and food is unbeatable. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming.You HAVE to try this place!!

This place was truly delicious!! We had tried another restaurant and it was horrible and way overpriced. This place on the other hand, mil respetos. :) The service provided was amazing. The cook makes you wanna steal his recipes!! The ppl here really know customer service! Amazing family, amazing restaurant.My tacos de lengua were STUFFED!! I could only 2! Haha.My husband’s chilaquiles were to die for. I don’t particularly like red chile but the chilaquiles were very delicious and spicy. So beware. What I liked about the red chile is that you could taste the homemade part to it. The love and hard work that went into it. :,)The burrito de chorizo was a big boy!! Haha my son loved it!! Then again, it did looked good. I didn’t get to try it bc I don’t eat pork.We also grabbed sopes but didn’t take pics of those bc my daughter asked for them very plain. Haha just meat, beans, and cheese. Only bad thing is that they use Parmesan cheese. Other than that, the meat in all out food was fresh. With some other places, you can tell they use old meat by the taste of it. Not this place!We also asked for smoothies, the milk smoothies are a bit too thick for my liking but mine, I asked to be made with water, was very smooth.In all, I can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes. They were very friendly and made you feel at home.

Their food blew our minds and taste-buds!!We are very picky when it comes to restaurant food because we LOVE homemade food. Their food was homely and yet so flavorful! Nothing overpowering and yet scrumptious!We had tacos de al pastor, tacos de enchiladas and sopes de picaditas con carnitas. Every single dish was amazing!Highly recommended.
Sent my husband to order and when he asked to place the order for some tacos she simply said “no”. Not sure why at all.

Genuine Mexican food. Green sauce was perfect on my carnitas tacos. They actually have protein smoothies! My lunchmate had a beet, apple, cucumber smoothie. Most excellent! Will definitely go again!
