Stopped in for an early dinner and drinks and sat at the bar. Bar tender was friendly and great with recommendations as I wanted to try new, out of my normal options, everything she recommended was great and the drink specials were fun/seasonal! The food was great! I had crab cakes the husband had some sort of pasta with scallops and it was so good! It was a bit pricey but exactly what we were expecting to pay for what we got, definitely worth it!
We had our company dinner and the whole staff really took care of us. From Joe the owner to Jerry the server and Jimmy the chef, everyone did a phenomenal job. The food and drinks were also outstanding. We had fillet, duck, lamb chops, pasta, meatballs, and stuffed banana peppers. It was all top notch! If you’re looking for a locally owned versus corp chain restaurant with a great menu, reasonable prices, and excellently prepared food, 424 Walnut is your place!!!

We went here before the Donnie Iris concert yesterday, Saturday at 4 pm. They were not busy yet. I was greeted by name by the hostess and our server Nikki (sorry if I’m not spelling this correctly) was a true delight. She was sweet and attentive. We had a few picky eaters in our party of 6 and Nikki took the time to help them find something acceptable on the menu.
