This original design of the restaurant is the best! The one in Carlisle,PA doesn't have this atmosphere however the servers are very kind and welcoming there in Carlisle.2 mistakes I feel they didn't have on the menu, they no longer have a Kansas City cut steak, or a NY strip steak. I would like to see them have specials with them steaks at times.The buffet and salad bar is always a great addition to the experience.
This was a wonderful stop on a long trip. It was along a route that both of us have traveled before, separately, but for whatever reason, we had not stopped at previously. First, the salad bar was amazing - many selections, including some soup and simple finished food options, like Mac & Cheese. There was also a dessert bar that had a wide variety of offerings.The main food was Delicious, and arrived perfectly cooked (steak) and well timed, arriving just before we had finished our salads.The staff we interacted with was equally noteworthy, being accommodating a d attentive.If you are ever by here (or any of their locations in Pennsylvania, likely), I would recommend stopping in. Now, if they would just open up closer to home (Rochester NY area)!Parking: We were driving a 26' moving truck, and were able to find a spot to park that was out of the way, as well as allowing us to get back out easily. We were there on a Wednesday evening, so that may have helped.
Have not been there in years very impressive my wife is not by far a buffet person,but she liked it to go back again in time........... burger was done and tasty..,....

Nice atmosphere and service yet the steak was tasteless and rubbery. Probably won't go back any time soon. Definitely not worth the price, in my opinion.

Worst steak I've ever had. Gristle and tough, teeth full trying to naw it down. A far cry from top class steak house 40yrs ago. The butter fried mushrooms were heated up out of a can!! Which was dumped on top of an addition of crab scampi. So much for being crisp. The taste of canned mushrooms spoils the flavor goes right thru everything. Tomorrow is Sunday and I'll be officiating a funeral unless I have a bad stomach. I'd recommend to keep a very large distance.

The atmosphere was great there.Wheelchair accessibility: Was able to get out of the roller asset around comfortable.
I had to he saled bar but that had no meat on it and charged $13.49 for that price u would think u would get some type of meat I was not happy!!!And no chile.
Had the salad bar and tuna melt...salad bar had fresh ingredients, and the tuna melt was delicious! Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Some of the items on the salad bar were not fresh, especially the spinach. The cheesy potato soup was too thick, but they repkaced it with a clam chowder, which was good. My daughter's steak was overdone, but they replaced it with no issue.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the chicken finger and burgers with fries. It is great that they get the salad bar with the meal because they love the ice cream with all the toppings.

Food is good and consistent with each visit, salad bar is well stocked with a wide variety of toppings. Also has soup and breads. Service has always been great and the staff is awesome.
