Pulled pork was very stringy, tasted old and was not warm. Brisket was not warm. Muffin was cold.Beans were good. Coleslaw was good. Ribs were not warm, tasted ok.Beautiful view, expensive meal, fresh of was not good, wanted a tip as your order.Not a great place d experience at all.Sad, nearly $50.00 meal, a bologna sandwich would have been much better.

First time visiting and I’m disappointed. I’ll start by saying the coleslaw was top notch. Very good recipe and the star of the show. I bought the two meat platter with pulled pork and brisket. Everything was under seasoned and over sugared. Baked beans were like navy beans from a can that were begging for some smoke and salt. Brisket and pulled pork- boring, bland- not a smoked flavor to be found. I got some brisket chili which was more like brisket vegetable soup with sugar. No chili flavor. But hey, the Lipton tea was aces.

Beautiful view, wonderful atmosphere, and very tasty food!
Stopped here on our way through, place was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I walked in planning on getting some sort of platter but it was wing night so I had to go with that. Wings were nice sized and cooked how I like them. Only challenge was they offer like 2 sauces an none of them were hot. Wings for me need hot sauce. My wife got brisket and pork platter. Hers was good but nothing over the top.I’d return again when I’m in the area.

First time customer ... great job on the wings ! Jumbo wings that are smoked and deep fried. Sauce was kinda sweet and spicy which was perfect and the blue cheese was awesome !!!

Now I have an answer to the question: Where is the best place to eat around here? Skeeter's Pit BBQ. The location is very nice. The food preparing process looks great. The hospitality was good. I've eaten here only twice, once when they just opened and now, so I'll need to come back for more food sampling to verify my high ratings, but I think Mr. SKEETER has got a winner. Congratulations. There are even menu items for vegetarians, grilled veggies and they were very good.Parking: Large gravel parking lot
