We asked the hostess for a takeout container and she brought the smallest one for a large portion. I had to motion for our waitress to bring one that could contain all the food. She apologized and brought the correct size. As I was finishing my coffee, the hostess stood there waiting to clean off our table. How rude! Who neglected to teach her about her job???? I didn't finish my coffee. We hadn't even walked away and she began cleaning our table. I should have spoken up, but I was too fed up.“

“We are long-time customers of Sciccitano's pizza. But since we moved to Elysburg, we have not gotten it nearly enough. We had some recently and were reminded of how good the pizza is. So this weekend we decided to try some other tmitems from the menu. My husband asked if they had jalapenos, and they said yes, they do, so he ordered a large pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, a square hot cheese pizza and a cheese steak. FYI, banana peppers are not jalapenos!!!! We got a large pizza covered with banana peppers, they are not the same. The cheesesteak was really good. And the hot cheese pizza had sweet sauce. Otherwise, that would have been great too. The sweet sauce overpowered the heat from the cheese, in my opinion. We will try it again another time with regular sauce.“
“I've been to Mt. Carmel twice in the last month because of a family house thing, and both times asked the locals where was a good place to eat in Mt. Carmel. All of the 5 people said there was nowhere really good to eat in this town but one mentioned this place. The store is nostalgic and clean and the staff was very friendly and I was honestly expecting bad food for the price, but the food was absolutely amazing! Mt. Carmel has at least one really good place to eat and I will get food from there every time I come back ☺️“
“We needed a bite to eat after visiting Knoebel's, but didn't want to travel far and didn't want a big meal from a chain restaurant. Found this quiet, clean and friendly place. It was late at night, but the food was made fresh and we were made to feel very welcome. Definitely will stop in again when we're in the area.“
“I was with my son, having an early dinner. He and I got one of the several specials they offer for less than $12 each. This was our first time being there and we enjoyed the experience. Polite and attentive staff, a very clean, warm and welcoming dining area. The food was delivered quickly and it was so delicious that my son inhaled his in about 2 minutes. We had privacy to speak about serious subject matters. I forgot my glasses, and hours later we went back to search, they were safely stored and returned to me. I am a fan and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.“
“We enjoyed out pizza. Got the meat lovers and came out quick. Crust was very good. Also had the brushetta. Only thing about that I would suggest putting the topping in a bowl and let the customer spoon it on themselves to prevent the bread from getting soggy. Otherwise it was all good.“

“Got a veggie pizza to go today. Have been to Tower of Pizza on a number of occasions, and never disappointed. They are very accommodating to make the pizza just how you like it. Very good vegetarian options. I don't believe they do vegan. This is the first time we've had takeout, usually we eat there, a very nice atmosphere. Be around tap, I believe they have a full bar as well.“
“Cesari's has always been my #1 stop for convenience & it was my personal preference & since they closed, decided to give good ol faithful a try since it was a family favorite (extended family) when I was a kid so I knew it shouldn't disappoint. Now, I KNOW WHY it was one of their favorite spots!I got 2 orders of the 1/2 of a chicken for takeout (we'd always eat in the cafeteria when I'd go with my family). It literally lasted me 2 days & a family member ate the rest- that's how much meat you got! It was juicy and tender- MAJOR plus, bc I HATE chicken but how can you pass up that price & honestly, done right (such as here), it's yummy! I enjoyed the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the mixed veggies (only complaint I have about that: hard gristle pieces of broccoli stem mixed in. Thankfully I caught it before I ate it & I was at home when I did, bc I WOULD have thrown up). It was only like $20 for 2 meals, the woman at the register for me a foil wrap for my rolls (so they wouldn't get soggy) and gave me a bag so I could hold them (which a lot of the food places do NOT offer!)The boy and girl duo who were working the food counter were very sweet and courteous as well! I recommend getting the normal cheese pizza, cause it's so good with the special sauce they make by themselves.Their business is owned by new owners because the previous owner unfortunately had a heart attack, and the business was up for sale. I still go there today, and it's better then ever! That's why I recommend this delicious place for delicious food and great service.“
“I am new to this area and walked in to Mr. Pizza for the very first and was absolutely overwhelmed by the delicious aroma of the pizza! This is not your run of the mill pizza place, but rather only serves pizza. Not just any pizza, oh no. The pizza is very thin crust and square. Each delicious slice has exactly on pepperoni slice on it. Now you think with only one pepperoni slice it would not be enough, but it is. Each slice is about 2 or 3 bites, and the pepperoni is just big enough to get a little in each bite. The sauce is savory with a hearty tomato flavor. Prices are reasonable in today's market. If you are looking for a quick dinner or party meal they offer a whole sheet pan pizza which is, I believe, 32 slices. I suggest giving this a try ?“
