I’m not certain how this place has a 3.9 star rating. This place isn’t great. The waitresses are very nice but man oh man the breakfast was terrible. I realize what diner food is, believe me… and maybe lunch and dinner is decent but, if the breakfast was any indication I wouldn’t eat there again.Don’t get me started on the artwork.

The food was pretty good but the condition of the place and the waitress were not the best. I asked for a high chair for my little one and they bring me a dirty broken one. She could have slipped right through and onto the floor. The wooden chair was also coated with something sticky and was black from the lack of cleaning. Our waitress was extremely rude, barely talked to us at all, and smelled like a burnt out cigarette. The bathroom was cold and filthy. I was honestly afraid to eat the food because if the restaurant was so filthy I can not imagine what the kitchen looked like. This place would be nice if they actually fixed and cleaned the place up and hired more pleasant people. I will not be returning to this diner or the gray hound until changes are made.

iff your lookin 4 gr8t food , well just keep drivin by the servic is as badd as the food , n the owner is just as bad , he doesnt pay his staff so they dont care sbout your food n service , why do u think there clised , it will chsnge names but not owners ..
This was our first time here and we will be going back again, when we are in the area. The staff was very polite and the food was excellent.

The food, service and seating are all good. It's also great they are open 24/7. But, the reason for the low rating is because of the s silliness management has of not allowing heat in the place between 10 pm and 5 am. And not having certain food available after 10. How the heck does the management think customers will frequent the place overnight if there's no heat? It's COLD in winter! No heat in the diner and having to wear a coat and hat and being cold/uncomfortable means they are doing a great job pushing customers away. Wake up, management! I get you have a computerized system to save energy costs overnight but is pushing away customers (and staff) who dislike the cold away a way to make money? News Flash-i will not come here again overnight until late spring or summer so you lost my friend and I for half the year because of management's desire to save some heating cost. Bottom line- I recommend this place during the day and evening but unless you don't mind the cold, avoid it overnight. If that leads to the diner being closed overnight, so be it. There are other overnight choices, places not on the cheap, and willing to respect the customers enough to not make them be uncomfortable and cold while paying for their food.

To say the food and service here was bad last night is a terrible understatement. I have no idea if this review will do any good, but it is the type of local restaurant that gives your poorly managed fast food chain look like a treasure. Stay far away is our advice.

I've been here on multiple occasions. I will not be back again. We waited forever to receive some of our food. Once some of us had our food, we had no silverware. I asked out waitress for silverware. After waiting another 5 minutes I finally got up and went to ask for silverware. I asked to speak with a manager I was told that he was leaving.
