My wife and I have been to the Olde Brook several times and always had a great experience. We recommended to another couple to join us at the Olde Brook for dinner on 4/13/2024. It was their first time there. We really hyped up the Olde Brook to them and we were very excited.Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. All our dishes were very over salted and the food was average at best and not worth the prices (risotto and gnocchi overcooked, scallops were not sheared as described on menu, and carrot cake was dry and seemed like it had been in the frig for a week). Service was okay but it was a real shock to see the 3% charge for using credit cards.Just something unexpected from a higher-end establishment and given the prices. The total bill for the four of us was nearly $300 including tip and then to add 3% on top.... and to promote on the receipt they have an ATM machine... It's understandable that prices and wages have gone up but at $30-40 dollars a dish, yanking another 3% upcharge from the customer for credit card use at a high-end place where you know people are not going to carry that kind of cash around... com'on...The feeling of the fine-dining atmosphere and going to Olde Brook for those special occasions was lost on this visit.Parking: Parking lot is terrible and wear your worse shoes if it rains as they will be covered in mud walking in the parking lot.

The food used to be better or at least more consistent. I had to send food back 2 out of the last 3 times. One was fish and the other was the white clam pizza. I used to love the pizza but it was nothing like I've ever had there before. I've been going since they opened. The prices have increased substantially as well. That pizza is $19 and used to be $13. I know everything is more expensive but more than 50% price increase is nuts.

We were a table of 5 celebrating a birthday. It took 2.5 hours for over priced, small portions of food. My water was refilled once in the 2.5 hrs my wife’s soda and water were not refilled at all. We will never be back.

We have been coming here for YEARS for the food and service. Also the location and atmosphere. We are always sure to make reservations due to seating preference, wait time, etc. that being said- tonight was a deal breaker and we will not be returning to OBI any time soon, if at all. I called and made a reservation request for 6 people, on the patio. I was assured 7pm was a good time for us, since they had another large party reserved for 6:30. After arriving, our table wasn’t ready for another 40 minutes. Another couple that came in after us had also made reservations and waited. We were taken to our seats where the water glasses were already filled- two with melted ice, which appeared to be left from the previous party. My water glass had dry lipstick from a previous guest. We were served a bread(?) basket which was extremely stale and burnt. I believe it had onion seasoning of some sort on top. We waited another 15 minutes for drinks and our server to come over. I again received a glass with lipstick on the rim for my wine. We waited so long for the waitress to come take our food order, that my fiancée walked to the bar himself to ask for a new glass of wine for me. My soup appetizer was forgotten, even through two others in our party received theirs (exact same soup). The OBI house salad was overwhelmed with onions and pizza was burnt. I’m so disappointed because OBI has such a wonderful setting and atmosphere. It’s always been a family favorite but I feel they take on more than they can cater to.

Best meal I've had in a very long time. I got the bolanaise, scrumptious! 2 got the seared tuna also amazing and 1 got pasta and clams! The apps were delicious. Seared tuna and calamari! Well worth it. Best martini I had in a long time! We will be back again & again!

Visited for a family dinner and was not disappointed. Very welcoming environment with great decor, plenty of seating, multiple bars and the outside area is the place to be.The outdoor patio is enclosed with heated floors…and an outdoor bar.The drink menu has a variety of cocktails, wine, as well as a reasonable beer selection.The food menu is diverse and it will be difficult to find something that you don’t like.This is a great place for a date night, family meal, friends get together or if you’re just feeling a little bougie.
