“We came in on 4/14/2024 with a party of 12. Most of us had never been here before. The waitress was great. She was very patient with my husband who couldn't decide what he wanted. The food showed up and honestly, for the prices was a little too much. I don't mean that in a good way either. One person got a hoagie that came on a hard roll. Another got a healthy omelet that had zero seasoning. Another got the strawberry French toast and it had way too much strawberries on it that it was leaking off the plate and very sweet. 2 in our group got items with buffalo sauce (buffalo cheesesteak and quesadilla) and both had way too much buffalo. So much buffalo that both the roll and the shells of the quesadilla was mushy and soft by sitting in too much liquid.The other few members of our group enjoyed their food. The environment was nice. There wasn't much parking when we showed up though (12:45 pm). The floors were very sticky also.We may give it a try if we are in the area again.“

“The girls at the sleepover we were hosting loved the food. There was a little bit of a wait when I went for pick-up but it was because they were so busy.. the owner (?) was greeting regulars by their names, asking about spouse, kids, etc. Very welcoming. As a thank you for the wait (10-15 min) they offered me a free pint of ice cream and soda. I walked out smiling and will definitely be back again. The food was tasty and the service kind. “In town for the weekend and wanted to find a good breakfast spot instead of the normal/crappy hotel fare. I’ll admit the name was the selling point. Due to some shenanigans the night before, we ended up at Your Mom’s Place closer to afternoon. The sign indicated they close at 2:00pm on Fridays, so we asked if they were still serving (this was right at 1:30 – and having worked in the restaurant industry I know how annoying it is to have a table walk in right before close). They said absolutely and welcomed us right in. Our server Suzy was so friendly and attentive. They unfortunately had no more home fries but went the next step and gave us (delicious) potato wedges instead. The dark roast coffee was the perfect pick me up and the Boomer omelet was to die for. We were even given coffee to go – the good stuff – as they were just going to dump it anyways. The food and service were top notch and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. You bet we’ll be back next time we’re in town.“

He was personable, and attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with the food. He was very busy but I noticed he provided time and courtesy to all the tables around us. “1st time here. We came because I saw photos of the teriyaki steak meal but found out that was from the previous restaurant that was here. They mostly have ramen dishes now, so we gave it a try. I had the tempura shrimp to start, and my husband has the veggie spring roll. I got a shrimp Ramen and my husband got the spicy chicken Ramen. We were seated immediately and given a takeout menu to look at.We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and Steamed Pork Dumplings for our appetizers. For my main dish, I ordered the Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot.The Dan Dan Noodles came out first. It was quite a large serving and could probably pass as a entree dish. Even sharing between the two of us, we were almost nearly full by the time the entrees came out. The noodles were good, but a little spicy! It did taste like chili oil as well. If you're not a fan of spicy food, you may not enjoy this dish.The Steamed Pork Dumplings came out next. There were 6 pieces total. I honestly can't remember too much about the dumplings--not bad but not good.The Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot was quite delicious. It is a soup-based dish and there's plenty of it to share. The broth was delicious, though a little on the saltier side. The brisket was a little tough but still good. It does have skin attached to some of the brisket pieces, which I didn't quite enjoy, but there were sufficient pieces without the skin also. The tofu is firm, and as the name of the dish suggests, lightly fried. It tasted good but I wonder if a softer tofu would complement the dish better.Overall, Cheng Du was a nice little spot to stop in for authentic Chinese dishes. The dishes have big serving sizes, so I would recommend ordering less than you would think. We ended up taking most, if not all, of our entrees home. The food was good and the staff were quick and friendly.“

We ordered appetizers, and specialty drinks, our server Orville was so attentive and definitely knew the menu. The general manager, Maureen stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and make sure everything was as it should be. The service and food exceeded our expectations, it always does. Maureen seems to be an amazing role model to her staff, she is the manager, but you definitely find her with “hands on”, it’s incredibly obvious how much respect they have for her.
