Very interesting place to stop and get some gas and breakfast. Feels like a lowkey place but well-blended into the nearby mountains. Had some really awesome sandwich and ice cream, and some good talk with the folks there.

Customer service must not be a real thing anymore. We stopped while passing through for fuel. I had originally stayed in the car with the baby while his dad went in to pay once he came back out I needed to use a restroom. I was rudely told where it was and told to come back again and maybe next time but something. We have stopped here in the past while traveling through the area, this will be the last time.

Homan's General store and gas station is a small business operated by friendly staff and the most friendly owner. Brenda, Is the most wonderful person who is always working her butt off and eager to hear what's going on in your life and talk to you. I have come to appreciate this so much over the last year as I have been having trouble in my life and I don't believe she understands how much of an impact she made on my life. This is a gas station I will go out of my way to go to just to support the business. The service is what you would expect from a small business with only a few workers at a time. So sometimes there is a slight delay in counter convenience but trust me it is so worth the wait. The food is fantastic and they always have such unique options. As for the ambiance of the store when I step into there I feel like I am walking into my mom's house. I feel safe, and at home. I mean who wouldn't enjoy feeling like that. With all this being said I admire and appreciate this place because it is exactly what the workers and owner here deserve. Thank you Brenda for all of the hard work you put in and all of the support and talks you have given me over the last months. It has been very appreciative. I want to state I am from Spring Mills, PA my address is not accurate on the yelp page so please do not assume this is a fake post. I know Brenda personally. Well at least through her business.

A store inside a house, classic Pennsylvania. A gentleman that was working was very helpful, upbeat, made everything sound like his favorite thing there! We had a sub, it was delicious! I tried several of their sides, like their potato, salads and macaroni salads, and really didn't care for any of them. But I would totally go back and will for a sub! Huge selection of drinks, prepackaged things to go, their egg salad looked really good. I may have to try that next. They should totally come up with some kind of egg salad sub! I wanted a cup of coffee, but they did not have decaf.

Absolutely great subs! They're overloaded with good ingredients! Staff is pleasant. Just remember is a corner small community store. It's a bit pricey but rather than drive 15-20 minutes to town great to stop and get a gallon of milk or eggs if you're out

I got a cheesesteak on the cashier’s suggestion. It didn’t taste very fresh to be honest, but the service was friendly and fast.What really surprised me was the Swedish pineapple cake which was moist with a fluffy not too sweet frosting. I consider myself selective about baked goods and this really surpassed my expectations. It’s worth stopping for the cake alone.

The older lady who suggested a 12in sub for my BF and I to share while on the road was very nice. The 2 other females were very unprofessional. From leaving me to attend to flirt with a delivery driver. To the other one putting one piece of salami (on an Italian) and a piece of cheese on a bun and called it a sub. No lettuce, tomato, onion, nothing! And then when we finally opened the bag to eat it, I called back to the girl rudely saying it's not their fault! Well, we weren't behind the counter... So? Who's fault was it? Very unprofessional! I liked it better when ya'll actually had adults working there!The baked goods aren't even good anymore! Definitely a waste of $32! Very disappointed! We won't be back and we will definitely tell our family and friends not to go there anymore either!
