Went for the live music. Pure Cane Sugar and JR & Veronica and the Band were both incredible. That place was on FIRE. Some kind soul opened up a slider door just to get fresh air for the folks dancing up a sweat storm. All the while, the front of house was quiet and chill. The bartenders were attentive and kind. The bathrooms were accessible and clean all night long (2 private women's bathrooms to 1 men's, well done CAFE 210 West).I didn't have any food, but the food I saw looked delicious!

With my friends celebrating an end of an era (cafe workers knew about this celebration...) they had horrible service and wouldn't serve us. Then they kicked 8 of us out for no reason and did the same thing to dozens of others. I used to come here every week with my friends but I don't think that I'll ever be coming back. Over time I think their bouncers became very unbearable and irritated. If your bartenders over serve that's their issue, not ours... teach the bartenders then teach the bouncers... safe to say there are some days you can go, some days you can't...!

Service sucks. Food is terrible. Drinks are way too expensive and they are not creative. If I was a college student I might give it a 2.

Terrific spot in State College to have cheesesteaks! We visited Cafe 210 West for the first time and the vibes are definitely college bound atmosphere. The service was fantastic! We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer - which were excellent. The cheesesteaks were really good too. It did not have a sauce which I had to order a side of marinara to add onto the cheesesteak for an additional fee. The location has two big rooms and is self seating. Overall a good time with good food!

Unfortunately will not return thought we split our bill, giving $40 in cash and a card. Card was charged for entire meal and cash was kept too, on top of tip added to a card. Attempted to contact Cafe 210 of course many excuses, seems as this is a familiar conversation to Cafe 210.

Great live music that is constantly changing. Great drinks, decent food, just needs more wait staff but I know that's not their fault.

My boyfriend and I were just in there for an afternoon drink. I didn't get food because the only thing I wanted to order was "out". No problem. I wanted a second drink after a while but no server. The bartender said the server will be with us shortly. She arrived with the check instead. I explained I wanted another drink but she kept walking. I waited at the entrance and asked her if we had asked for the check. She said we got the check because her shift was ending, although I just saw her take an order. I've never been anywhere that just cashes you out because their shift is ending. I think it's more like someone didn't want us asking at the bar, so we were automatically trash. I hope her almost 50% tip lasts her a while.

We’ll ALWAYS be back!! Friday nights on a football weekend find lines around the corner at the cafe. We had been in having pitchers and iced teas when my visiting daughter from NYC got in line alone to see if she could catch up with us. Line was an hour long.. then the owner JR shows up and says, “I love to help people skip the line sometimes, come with me” and takes 2 people from the end and brings them in. My daughter was one of them. Great way to start the weekend and please long time Screaming Duck fans!!! Thanks JR!!

This bar will kick you out for no reason. I guess the bouncer decided he didn’t like me. Overall terrible experience, will not be returning.

Cameron is the man. Solid dude, solid service and solid attitude. This is why psu bars are great, because of the people.

The doorboy was so rude, didn't believe my ID (I'm 24) and questioned me/asked for other IDs and then asked for a cover. Do not visit here, the little boy at the front is so rude.

While in State College we stopped at this place, which has been in town 40 years. Seating can be inside or outside, on this evening outside was just right. Our waitress LISA (?) recommended to me the Po Boy, and she was right on the money, it was great tasting and filling. My friend had the TBG (Turkey, Bacon, Guacamole) wrap and it was also good and filling. And overall the price was very fair for the quality and quantity. One odd thing was we were told they brew Ice Tea in the morning, and they sold out already. I am not sure I've ever heard of that before, but that did not take away from the overall positive review of this no pretense place for brews and pub food.
