We stopped with a group of about 30 firefighters on our way back to Ohio from New York City & this restaurant was soooo accommodating & wonderful! The entire wait staff was so sweet and attentive and the food was so good! I 10/10 recommend and will be returning!

Surprised by the great ambiance and good beer selection.

No take out on Sundays is extremely dumb

Called ahead to ask about gluten free options was told by an employee what they had and verified party of 6 did not need reservation. Menu online said entrees available after 4 pm except Sundays. They would not uphold what I was told on the phone 1 hr before we drove there or what was on the menu. My party of 6 got up and left. Poor customer service and just said their employee was wrong and the online menu is wrong. Very disappointed.

Service was good, food was awesome. Live band started around 8 and was great! Perfect way to end the day while visiting PSU

I love this place! My husband and I make a point to stop here on our way from Ohio to Connecticut.Great selection of beer on tap. Smoked short rib and grilled cheese sandwich and Beer battered chicken were to die for! Our server Emma was delightful and efficient. We'll be back!

We went to this restaurant this past Sunday with our daughter after her dance performance at PSU. Previous visits here have been great. This time, however, was not. We arrived at 4:00 and were seated immediately and given what we thought were a drink menu and an appetizer menu. Turns out, the “appetizer” menu was the whole menu. Apparently on Sunday afternoons/evenings the menu is MUCH smaller. There literally were no sandwiches, salads or soups! My husband got the short rib nachos which barely had any cheese on them and the chips were burned. We asked for salsa and sour cream and were charged for them. I ordered chicken tenders (undercooked) and was charged for my very small side of ranch. Who charges for a dipping sauce for tenders? My daughter said her pizza was good. We ordered buffalo chicken dip for sharing. Menu stated that it came with bagel chips, but it came out with literal mini bagels. I literally never write reviews for restaurants, but I felt this warranted one. We were sooo disappointed and with a lot of other great dining options in State College, I doubt we will be back.?‍♀️

This place had a great vibe with really delicious food. After our original dinner plans fell through, Happy Valley was able to find us a table quickly. The wedge salad was *so* good. Kids enjoyed the short ribs nachos. Pasta dishes were great. I had a steak cooked perfectly. Service was friendly but clearly our server had too much going on. Still, we enjoyed our dinner and hope to go back.

Food ok, seating sucks

Stopped in to pick up a growler. Decided we had to try a few pints first to make a sound decision. Enjoyed the IPAs and the chill atmosphere in the downstairs bar. Bartender Jeff was a good guide through their beer offerings. Will visit again on our next trip out that way.

Three people including the manager and servers asked us to leave before we got served because they had a reservation coming for the table they sat us

I was in the Radisson across the street and thank goodness I stayed there or would have never found this great place. Its beautiful inside and the service and drinks were outstanding.

Older woman bartender was extremely rude. We had been seated at a table for just drinks by the hostess as we were not going to be long. She yelled at us over the bar that we couldn't sit there after we were seated. Quite embarrassing. If she's that miserable, perhaps she should retire. The hostess was very sweet to us!

Tried many different good things and had a good bday celebration.
