I really struggle with this location. I work right across the street so I’m there often in the mornings for my sandwich, iced coffee, and water but the missing of items, and wrong size drinks is getting ridiculous. I didn’t receive my water, and the large iced coffee I ordered was a medium. This happens almost every single morning I go there. This is just not okay. It is stealing. I’m paying in exchange for my items, without receiving my items or the wrong size drink (that costs less than what I paid), you are collecting my money and not holding up your end of the exchange. I understand being short staffed, but I’m sick of giving away free money.

I stopped getting fries from all McDonalds because they are never crispy enough when I ask for them to be extra crispy. Today that was different, the younger gentleman with tattoos on both of his lower arms is phenomenal. He let the kitchen know to make them super crispy and when they were brought out to me I was so pleasantly surprised at how well they came out. I didn’t catch his name but whoever he is, give this guy a raise! Really listens to customers and always kind!

I ordered online 20 minutes before close and these cokksuckers want to tell me “we closed out our online system we cant do anything” after trying to tell me i ordered to the wrong mcdonalds, even though I didnt. L Cokksuckers all together they treated me with straight disrespect, imma spin back when they open again.

The Mcdonalds on North Atherton Street used to be better. I stopped in last week because i was hungry and didn't want to spend a lot because im not a big eater, so i went. As i went to go in, i noticed the drive thru was a little busy. I went in to order there was a gentleman in front of me and as we both stood and watched numerous employees walk by us not one of them said anything to us. Let me clarify that i worked at Papa Johns on South Atherton, which is the busiest Papa Johns on the East Coast. I was a manager there for 7 years, so i know what im talking about. I said to the gentleman how poor the service was there, and he told me he was already waiting 6 or 7 minutes before i walked in. Well, im a delivery driver and had an order at the moment, so i thought ok, I'll take the delivery and come back. A hour goes by i go back to North Atherton Mcdonalds to receive the same thing, employees walking by no one says anything to me and this time there are only 2 cars in the drive thru so then it was clear to me they had no interest in waiting on me so i left and went to Benner Pike which is on the other side of town and was treated very very well not to mention the food was hot and fresh. I do not eat Mcdonalds very much from working in restaurants i know quality and their quality has sunk to a level i never thought i would see but i cant speak very highly for many fast food places anymore so i already know the food isnt that great but i do expect it to be fresh and hot and not to stand wondering if anyone is going to wait on me Its not hard to run a restaurant its not hard to serve quality, but when the manager/employee is simply there to make a paycheck, dont have high expectations, and that's the impression i got from North Atherton I again know that when they dont care about quality and service they dont care much about anything take any short cut to get the job done and now your endanger of eating something that isnt cooked properly or the kitchen isnt cleaned properly transferring germs and food borne illnesses bacteria all over the place. In a post covid world, i want to know i can trust what i put in my body. I do not trust North Atherton to cook my food, so i will never go there anytime soon. Here is the deal, they have a ton of college kids coming in who dont worry about quality as much so they just shovel garbage out the door fast as humanly possible while quality goes out the window and no they dont meet up in the parking lot you just get a bag on grease and cold food. I dont know about you, but i miss the days when things in America were held to a much higher standard. I will take peanut butter and jelly sandwich to work before i go to North Atherton Mcdonalds. They might not care they lost me as a customer, but i bet they will care about this review. For the atmosphere, a lot of college-aged kids most not from our country that think that is their Mcdonalds. Dont believe me go in and see this has nothing to do about my ideology. it's just the truth.

McDonald's (all) just aren't the same anymore. The fries definitely are not the same as the ones I grew up with and continue to go downhill in taste. It's nice to use the mobile app. But most people these days just grab stuff and go. The atmosphere has definitely changed for the worst.
