Ten stars. Delicious food. I love the poach and hash. Crullers were fresh and warm. Waffles were delicious. Everything was freshly made, luxurious. A delight to my taste buds. Can’t wait to come back.

Agradable. Food tastes very fresh and not like plastic, but coffee is not good. The menu has things that no other diner in State College has and I like that a lot!

Food was incredibly good. I really enjoyed the French aspect of it and the crullers were incredible compared to any other I have had in the US. The coffee was bland which is consistent with what I have seen in other reviews. What knocks a star off was the understaffed servers and kitchen. The chef came out at one point and yelled at her server right in front of her table about how she is getting to many tickets. That is not the servers fault and she was clearly swamped as well. Hope that gets fixed soon.

Well tried this place for something different. Coffee was very disappointing. Food was ok. We tried Crullers and I tried a different egg dish. They were decent. Service…. Well let’s just say needs improvement.

We really enjoyed our visit here. I got the eggs en cocotte; my wife got “le sandwich”; my mom got the hearts of palm sandwich; and we all shared the pecan sticky bun. Everything was excellent and that sticky bun in particular was outstanding, the only drawbacks were that the eggs in le sandwich were overcooked and that the coffee could have been stronger. Our server was delightful and professional. We will definitely be back and are excited to try other things on the menu.

The food is very fresh, high quality and tastes great. The baguettes are the best I've had -better than Gemellis. We hesitated going for a long time because of the lack of crepes. Though they do have a crepe dessert, I encourage the owners to expand to other crepe offerings. I also encourage offering real maple syrup for upcharge - this would beat waffle shop. We will definitely be returning.Returning 2nd time, equally impressed. They have the flakiest, freshest turnovers. Best in State College by far.

Was hesitant to eat here, as I was a big fan of Baby's. Great service and the food didn't disappoint. I'll miss the wimpy burgers but I think this place sets a great new tradition! Will definitely be stopping by on my trips threw State College. Well done!!!!

Do not order the steak. It was tough, thin and lacked flavor. Basically it was $32 for french fries because that's all that was edible. The crullers were very good though.

Some friends brought me to this place after a night out, walking in looked very put together and gave a great diner vibe. However, they struggled to seat us at an unattended bar and the chef seemed to have an attitude throwing the menus near us and one landing on the floor. The menus were very fancy and well worded but the food was the struggle of the day as the pancakes were cold and seemed to upset 3 of our stomachs, and the lebron sand-which was soggy and the hash browns were very solid, as the eggs were severely under par, and the bacon consistency was off, the waitress however was a very nice attentive hostess. Would go back to give it another try but many better options on campus!

The waitress was so indifferent toward us. They might have been understaffed but she made it clear to my son that she did not feel like making him a milkshake so he ordered something else. It was aggravating that a 20% tip is automatically included because she did not deserve that much but I did not want to argue about it. With another waitress perhaps the place would be a nice place to dine.Parking: A few spots on-street.

Nice, wouldn't not go back, but wouldn't fight a crowd or struggle for parking to get there. Understaffed for patronage, perhaps, yet another sign of current trends. Food was good, not exceptional, but nice!

Edited as it's infuriating that an owner would respond to a review denying my experience!! Yes, my grandson loved the pickles. We never said we shared his burger either. I also said the food tasted good, but there was literally two bites of beef and two carrots in the dish. It was a complete waste of money!!Brought my mom and grandson for a new experience. Mom got Beef Bourguignon. Lots of juice, pearl onions, a carrot or maybe two and two pieces of bite sized beef. All for one price of $18! The flavor was good, but you shouldn't leave as hungry as you came! I got a bean stew. Good flavor. Luke warm. And my grandson got a burger and fries. Best fries I've tasted in a long time. Burger had no flavor.

If I could give a ZERO, I would. To be honest, we never made it to the meal. We decided to try out the place on a Sunday afternoon because it looked cute and the menu was interesting. It was 11:30ish so there were many free tables. They sat us quickly, then proceeded to ignore us while they refilled salt shakers and cleaned the bartop. Several servers seemed to discuss who would take our table (they kept looking over), but no one appeared tableside. After almost 30 minutes -- we only made it that long because we were enjoying each other's company -- we walked out.

Oeuf Boeuf et Bacon definitely serves the best breakfast in State College. To start off I was greeted with a smile when I entered into the restaurant. I started my meal off with a coke, where I was offered to try their cherry syrup with it to make it a cherry coke. Let me just tell you if you are a cherry person you neeeed to try it. I have never tasted a soda better. I started off with their famous corbeille a pain which comes with two crullers, two chocolate croissants, and one turnover. The chocolate croissants were perfect, as soon as you bite into them your mouth gets flooded with warm chocolate. The crullers were to do die for. They came out hot, super soft and the lemon glaze is the perfect touch for them. I got the cherry turnover and it was also amazing. The flavor was strong and I loved how flaky it was. For my meal I got their sacre bleu special which was fried chicken and waffles. LET ME JUST TELLLLL YOU THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER. I don't think I've ever ate more delicious crispy piece of chicken. It is no doubt that she beat Bobby Flay with this chicken. Also even the waffle was extremely above average and one of the best waffles I've ever tasted. To top it all off I ended my meal with the gateau chocolat which is a flourless chocolate serves warm with a gooey center. I will definitely be back!!!!!!!
