This used to be my favorite place to eat but laely the new guy that is in charge of cooking does not know how to cook at all served me a tastless chicken with bad quality meal overall. I come here because of the quality of the food and ever since the person old guy or staff went missing food quality dropped a lot. Today was the last day I am going until they bring the old staff back

I just found this hidden treasure while in a business. Decided to order too much food for one person, and I wish I had a much bigger stomach to eat more and more. The Pide is beyond fantastic and yummy to the core. The staff are welcoming and helpful. And as a bonus, supper affordable prices since Penn State is in the neighborhood, so call it a student friendly budget.I’ll definitely revisit if I’m in the area again.

Had one of their Pides which is kind of like a pizza but the sauce is a little more complex, and has cheese for days. It was extremely good, and it was a cool place to try! I'll definitely be going again.

Undoubtedly State College’s best, most affordable restaurant. The food is, relative to other nearby establishments, exceptionally cheap, and delicious. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Discovering this place was like finding out that you had a gold mine in your backyard. The food at Penn Pide is absolutely delicious! There are 4 different dishes in these photos: Lamb Special, Lamb Biryani, Cheese & Beef Pide, and the Labneh with Honey Pide. Our favorite ones were the Lamb Special as well as the Cheese & Beef Pide. You can’t go wrong with those two!The owner of this place, Abu Yousef, is a very well mannered and respectful gentleman who welcomes everyone to his restaurant. Since it was our first time at his place, he cooked everything with great care and effort.Definitely check out this place, and try out some of the dishes in these photos!

Ate here with a co-worker who also got a pied. We were both disappointed in the lack of meat in the dish. The crust/bread was cooked quite nicely. I was really hoping for a 4+ star experience based off other reviews, but it just wasn't on that level. I will be back to sample again, as everyone deserves a second chance.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the gyro thinking I was going to get the pita wrap sandwich that you normally get at a Greek restaurant. That's not what came out. It was this pizza like thing, like an open face calzone that's pinched on the sides. It's just cheese and meat. It had this amazing like cucumber aioli sauce on the side o dip into. you would think mayonnaise would make this taste heavier but the cucumber gives it a lightness and cuts through. My boyfriend wasn't even hungry and he absolutely devoured his beef kabob dish.My only complaint would be that the bathroom needs a deep clean. I'm not saying that I wasn't comfortable using it or something. you can just tell they've only been doing the bare minimum of cleaning the toilet, sink, and mopping the floor for a while now. the walls are grimy and definitely need to be wiped down, along with the baseboards which were quite dusty. This is probably just a me thing, I used to clean for a living so it's something I noticed. My boyfriend didn't notice at all. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.Vegetarian options: I would say at least a third to half of the menu is vegetarian. I'm not vegetarian but my dad is and I try to keep an eye out for places to take him. There was Lebah, hummus, falafel, a veggie platter, eggplant pide, spinach pide, veggie pide, cheese pide and that's just what I can remember off the top of my head. I'm very sure there were more dishes that are vegetarian.Parking: There's a parking garage right across the street it cost us $4 for the whole day.
