I do Toast POS installations and was on site at this location. I get to try a lot of new foods on a pretty regular basis. However, the food here was definitely among the best. You can tell everything is made fresh and they care about what they make. I highly recommend trying this place out if given the opportunity.

Pita Cabana is one of the best spots I’ve hit @ Penn State. They give you the biggest bowl or wrap without question. Best spot at PSU thank you

Had them cater a graduation dinner. Food was beyond delicious, home made and authentic. Portions were very generous. The lamb melts in your mouth!

I enjoyed the visit to Pita Cabana, the store was clean and the food looked very fresh. The quality and amount of food is definitely worth!

One of my favorites from undergrad, and still make a point to come here when I visit as a nostalgic alumnus. All of their shawarma is well-seasoned and tender, and their falafel is some of the best I've ever had (and I've eaten a LOT of falafel)! Don't forget dessert too - their orange blossom rice pudding topped with tahini and ground pistachio is other-worldly. A must try spot in Happy Valley!

I received the "Gyro" I ordered in a tortilla burrito that was grilled, like a menu item from Taco Bell. I informed the restaurant of their obvious mistake. I was told "that's how we make our sandwiches." I asked why it was not made with a pita, as is clearly stated on their menu. Was handed off to another staff without a word, who I had to tell the same story to. He told me he would pass along my message to the manager, and they would call me back. I have never received a callback over two weeks later.Don't expect a PITA from a restaurant with PITA in their very name. Aside from all this, the food itself was bland and stale. Update your menu so you stop lying to customers. No reason to ever return to this establishment.

I come here often and it provide very good wraps and gyroUpdate: this restaurant is bought by the owner of Yellah Taco, the food is very stale. Frying the stale food doesn't make the food good, it's very disgusting, Please avoid at all cost.

Ordered the chicken cabana platter here, with baba ganoush and hummus and a Baklava. The baba ganoush and hummus were fine but the chicken was fired to crisp. Overcooked and hard to eat. The Baklava was dry. Overall very mediocre food quality for the price. The Chipotle nearby is much more worth the money.

I have eaten here a number of times and it was great every time. The shwarma is fantastic especially with the gyro meat.

I’ve never in my life have been so disappointed. I do not like ketchup and getting it ALL OVER my shish tawook is insane. Platters are NEVER consistent and I just want to know who thought this was ok?!!!?! LOOK AT MY PLATTER IN THIS PICTURE!!! Honestly, I’ve only had one good experience here. I suppose they discriminate if you’re not Mediterranean/Middle Eastern given all their “good” reviews are from foreigners…Never again.

Best shawarma place in State College. Make sure to order Arabic Shawarma with no pickles, with garlic sauce, and with ketchup. After that, enjoy your shawarma.

Good food, but the ordering here was a hassle. I wanted rice bowl without meat, but the kiosk wasn't allowing me to go forward without selecting protein options. All the proteins were non vegetarian!!

I got a chicken platter, and the chicken reminded me of my college’s cafeteria (and not in a good way), and the hummus was bland. The beef-lamb sandwich was ok (at least the lamb part was). I wouldn’t come back.

Great for people with dietary restrictions, good vegetarian options, generous portion sizes all for a good price! Pictured here is a small falafel bowl with extra toppings- they didn’t charge me extra for the toppings though! The sandwich is a chicken sandwich. We were both really hungry and still both ended up with leftovers! 10/10 recommend

I tried falafel for the first time and it was delicious. The hummus was really good and surprisingly creamy too. The passion fruit energy drink was delicious. We each got appetizers, specialty drinks, and entrees and it only came to $45
