Upon going into the store I wasn’t greeted, but rather looked at, but a young lady who said “what?” whenever I approached the counter. They received my order and proceeded to talk about me while I was in line- saying some very very rude things. When I got my order and sat down, I opened the lid and in doing so was met with very very large pieces of chicken. If the customer service was half decent I might excuse the big chicken, but given everything that proceeded it I can’t help but to feel very underwhelmed and uncomfortable. 1/5

I said “Apollo bowl with no tomatoes no chicken and extra chickpeas” about 10 times as loud as I could. First they put no chickpeas in my bowl, then they put tomatoes in it, then they remade it after I said no tomatoes and continued to put chicken on

Great food. Need to fix the pickup area. A bunch of people who had ordered online were waiting around just to be told 20 minutes later that “all of your orders must have been stolen.” Took another 30 minutes to get the orders all out

First time patron ordered pickup. Got home and realized they forgot my protein. I was really stoked to try the jackfruit and after reading other reviews this is not a rare occurrence. Probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

I usually love it here, but it has become increasingly inconsistent. Sometimes it’s great and tastes fresh. Other times, it’s cold and there’s wayyyy too much dressing drenched. It’s too expensive for it not taste fresh and again, the dressing is so unhealthy. It just bothers me because when it’s really good, it’s worth it.

Amazing value for what you pay. Portions are massive. Takes surprisingly long to get your food but is very worth it.

As someone who is currently breastfeeding and dealing with crazy experimental elimination diets, places like Roots are a godsend because I can easily customize whatever I order without feeling like I'm a huge pain! Their prices are a little high but they do give you hefty portions so I ended up feeling like I got my money's worth. Their dressings are good and they have so many great options for your bowls that I had trouble choosing what NOT to get. The tahini lemon dressing was excellent, and while I did bulk my bowl up with rice it would've been great just full of greens. The chicken was good but I do wish they had some other meat varieties to add in... I didn't go inside, I had my friend order for me and bring it outside to eat but they have nice tables and chairs outside so if the weather is nice I highly recommend taking advantage of them! Only a little noisy on Beaver Ave but not the end of the world. If this were closer to my regular commute I'd go a lot more often but for now it will remain a special treat!

I usually love Roots as it’s a healthy option and tastes great. But the last few times we got it they forgot the chicken on our bowls. Seeing how the protein is what gives the bowl most of the bulk and that chicken is an extra 2 bucks, I was very disappointed. Not to mention the people behind the counter were very rude when I asked when my pick up order would be ready. Needless to say I have not been happy lately and it disappoints me seeing that I loved it so much before.
