Fish sandwich is pretty good, about $6 worth of fish. Shouldn't be much more than that. Add a $2 beer, and you have a whole meal with tip under $10. They don't charge more than that, right?

This review has nothing to do with the food. We did not even get past the receptionist- on the phone when I called, she rudely informed with an attitude of how stupid are you to request a reservation, that they do not take reservations. Despite her attitude, we were still looking forward to a great burger and beer. It was Blue and White weekend, so we were willing to wait, however, when we arrive, this receptionist's unsmiling, unwelcoming face, made it clear, you are not welcome here. We inquired about sitting at the bar and she made it clear, we were wasting her time. After two strikes with this young woman, we left and and were were warmly welcomed at American Ale House nearby. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a staff that were pleasant and welcoming. Please visit AAH it will be worth it.

Best burger place in the State College Area! Highly recommend the Shrewsburger, it is TO DIE FOR! The only downside is the wait. For a larger party that arrived before the dinner rush it was a estimated 45 min wait. But it was well worth it!

Food was excellent but the service is what impressed me the most. The hostess and the servers were extremely friendly and attentive. Bek was my server and she was fantastic! The Big Gadowski was tasty and filling. Would recommend

A nice atmosphere with a beautiful view out the huge windows. A little chilly inside however. Our waitress was super! Kudos to her. Orders went in fast and food came out at a great pace too. My 2 mixed drinks were a bit weak however, (the last one was my dessert, supposedly a spiked milk shake). The waffle fries were very good, and lots of them. Had more than half to take home. My spinach salad was delicious and huge too, took home half of that to go as well (I added chicken on top which was cooked perfectly). Another item my guest had was a burger which he liked and nochos which we were not impressed with as they were made with potato chips (different but not what our apatite was wanting, in addition they were super salty). I can't recall what our other guest had but she ate it all and seemed to like it. I would go back, though there are so many places in the area to try first.

The portion sizes here are pretty great especially for the price you pay. I got a BLT and it was AMAZING! There's something special about the bacon that they use.

They have a nice selection of beers on draft, all of which are from local breweries around Pennsylvania. You can taste the freshness in their food. I don't live in State College anymore, but every time I come back I need to visit The Field.

I wanted to write a review specifically because our server, Felix, was so awesome! He was very attentive to us and sweet to my 5 year old. We ended up having to sit at a communal table which only had stools, because they were very crowded. He brought my son a high back chair from the bar so that he’d be more comfortable, which was super nice. Food and drinks came out quickly and were delicious. My husband and I each had various burgers and the sweet potato fries. My son had chicken fingers and cleaned his plate which is unusual for him- they were really good. Great experience, thank you Felix!

I enjoyed this place, but the reason that it isn't five stars is because we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes to get a table. I understand that they have do not have a big area for customers to dine, but flipping tables is something that I think they need to work on a little better! Great food, friendly staff and wonderful area for people to have dinner. Most of all, at a great and reasonable price!
