I ordered from here through DoorDash, and this was my second time eating here. The first time, I ordered basic sushi, expecting there to be not too much problem. The sushi was fine, but as soon as I got home, I had the worst stomachache and spent hours in the bathroom. It was genuinely one of the worst experiences ever. Flash forward 4 years, I thought to myself, maybe I just had a bad time last time and it was just a one time thing. So I ordered a basic salmon roll, and after I ate it, not even thirty minutes later, my stomach was in so much pain and here I am spending another couple hours in the bathroom. I don’t know what kind of quality of food they have, but I never have had problems like this before eating raw fish, I will not be ordering from here ever again.

Sadly, last visit to this place. The food is ok, however waiting over thirty minutes for carry out on a Sunday afternoon?? Your system is badly broken. You're fired.

My favorite place in State College! The food and service are always excellent!I would call this a hidden gem. It's located below ground level, and not easy to find by casually walking by.I gave them a 4 on atmosphere because there seems to be a storage shortage for the restaurant. It's not off-putting for me, but some might not call it "fine dining." I'm ok with that, more food for me!

We stumbled on this hidden gem today for lunch. The streamed edemame was absolutely great. The star was the spicy California roll, but everything was fantastic. We shared the Cali roll, avocado and peanut roll, and tuna and cucumber roll. The side dish of hibachi noodles was fantastic as well.

Delicious and amazing food. You can tell it used to be the sub floor of Burger King back in the day. Not a big deal just noticed it was a frozen piece of history.

Great quality sushi for the price. My friend had the hibachi steak that was also tasty. At last we tried their dessert, the tempura green tea ice-cream, it’s so good! Love this experience and I can’t wait to visit again!

A little gem near Penn State. If you are at main, take the time to go downtown and stop in. The food is always good, the service is great. When I first went down the stairway, I thought maybe we should somewhere else because it was hidden away. Glad we went. You won't be disappointed!!

My wife and I ate here two days ago and had a wonderful meal and patient and helpful service. The choices were incredible - you might want to look through the menu online so you don't miss any. I had the fried snapper and it was perfect - hot , crisp and great texture - it was a big portion as well. The accompaniments (soup and salad ) were simple but nice as well. My wife had the miso soup and sushi and she loved both. I can vouch for the fried dumplings as well. Sorry about my lack of Japanese nomenclature - I haven't frequented many Japanese restaurants before but I'm planning on returning next week even though we live an hour away. The pleasant young lady who waited on us made the experience better - wish I got her name to mention it. BTW unlike a number of State College restaurants the rest rooms were pristine ( this says a lot about a place.) The prices were quite good as well. I, give it a 6 out of 5 if I could
